  • 23, been here for a while, add me people
  • It is confusing! The carb count is enormous! What on earth are they putting into decent wholesome yummy chicken to get 46g of carbs? I'd steer clear of it in future. But I'd have thought one serving is one 'fillet' or piece.
  • shirataki noodles - low carb and low cal, although you might be able to find other variations like yam noodles. Udon noodles are delicious! Wonton pastry wrappers - use to make wontons (duh) or low cal/carb pasta ravioli style Cheap vegs normally like, cabbages, chilis, onions, broccoli's Get soy sauces (loads of different…
  • Simple; don't go by portion size, go by weight. Get into the habit of weighing everything, get a digital scale with TAR if you don't have one, and then you know exactly what your eating rather than guessing what a portion is. If your worried about the rounding up of 0.05% - don't. Don't worry about it, MFP works. Obviously…
  • GW1: 145lbs CW: 182.3lbs I'm so glad I found this group, I was worrying about whether i'd got an achievable/healthy GW
  • Seriously? Sounds like he's stuck in the stoneage. Unless he's hunting/gathering for you and you've got nothing else to do with your day why on earth is he expecting you to do that for him? what does he do for you? Who did it before you, his mother? Talk to him about it. Maybe he thinks he's doing something.
  • Sprinkle into low-cal pancake batter, in low-cal muffins/cookies, mixed with skimmed milk/water, mixed with fromage frais/greek yoghurt/philly, Make up lil pralines - Cocoa powder (low fat, unsweetened)1 table spoon, Egg yolks1 (optional), Skimmed milk2 flat table spoons, Skimmed milk powder 7 table spoons, Sweetener 3…
  • Wow, you sound so organised. Maybe consider doing strength instead of non-stop cardio, you mentioned your knee so I imagine you'll probably want to be careful with that. And as the above poster mentioned 900 - 1,100 is very low. If you read around the site a bit more there are plenty of threads on the dangers of eating…
  • I still drink, but am attempting moderation. On a slightly different but still relevant topic; How do people log the wine? Most of the wines that I drink don't already exist or have nutrional/calorie labels on them. Do you just go it's a red therefore I shall log it as a red wine? I had a look and there can be a real…
  • I had awful acne since I was about 8 til 17, the only thing that worked for me was to try everything the doctor recommended, antibiotics etc until I progressed to the roaccutane level, where I got recommended by my doctor to go to a hospital consultant dermatologist when nothing else would work. I still have to use Duac…

  • Also from the uk, in Yorkshire atm but from all over. Please add!
  • I've had a similar problem with what feels like behind my knee, haven't been able to do very much for over a week now which is truly deeply annoying as i was enjoying the shred. I don't want to do any damage (ever again) so i'm going to try and find something else to do in the lunging and star jumping bits. Anyone got any…
  • Sounds good to me, and what the others have said. Swimming is especially good - low impact and works out all the muscle groups. Pilates will also help you, make sure you tell your instructor your injury history so they can help you. It's normally recommended that if you have a lot of weight to lose (I don't know how much…

  • Hungry Like the Wolf Because I am.
  • Try to eat more protein then carbs, it's supposed to fill you up more and generally has lower calories. So chicken pieces, ham, maybe small homemade meatballs in a lil sauce, or bresola, or hard-boiled eggs, jelly. And to those celery sticks/carrots slices maybe a healthy dip to make it more interesting? Or make salads…
  • Wow, what a difference! You look about 5 years younger (not that you looked old before) and look amazing! Well done!
  • Try out the first level for free online on youtube. I'd recommend the program though
  • OP; I feel your pain, almost literally from yesterdays crunches, I've got better in the last two weeks so much so that I can do double what I could originally (be it still in the tiny amounts) As a small side note, whilst doing bicycle crunches are you supposed to keep your head raised all the time, unlike sit-ups/crunches…
  • Wow you look awesome! What a iddy biddy waist!
  • Hey, I was a swimming coach before university. So I don't mind routing out some workouts for people who want to improve their technique, won't be able to help with the calories burnt side of it I'm afraid. Message me if you want technique based workouts and I'll get back to you on them Cheers,

  • Love that the avengers came out everywhere else bar the U.S at least a week ago.
  • I'm drinking green tea right now. But only for the taste and it keeps me off the milky stuff. I've heard people say it helps with weight loss and seen green tea supplement pills, but am very dubious as to how much it helps. If was you i'd try some to see if you liked it and then just drank it instead of something worse for…
  • Wow, congrats!
  • Oh wow you look amazing! Congratulations!
  • If you don't really like the texture/smell, I recommend blending any fish with any veg, add an onion, spices and an egg then fry in a pan with light oil or bake. Personally find cod a bit too fishy, but a previous posted said haddock is quite light. White fish are normally lighter and less fish. Tuna steak is awesome!
  • Wow congratulations! Your hair really looks good too!
  • Savoury Fishcakes; Blend fish and whatever vegetable is lying around/going off, add in your taste of spices, blend again, add egg/s blend again. make into patties then fry with light spray or bake. Sweet Pancakes; 2tbls of whatever you have oatbran/wheatbran/oats (oatbran least in carbs I believe), mix with 2-3 tbls low…
  • Wear light clothing, don't listen to music or at least have it turned really down, if your in a busy street at a light stop actually get slightly in the way of ,the also stopped, car in your lane so they have to be aware of you, and always be aware of what is going on around you, especially on corners/junctions. When in a…
  • Try having a search for protein recipes or something similar My faves are dried meats - deli or hams - bresola is my weakness, tuna with vinegar and smushed up eggs, fishcakes - blended vegetables and any fish then quickly fried. Pancakes with fromage frais and oats. Good luck!
