  • I completely get what you're feeling like. But at least you can make it as far as the gym, I for one have the biggest battle getting there in the first place. All the gyms I've ever been to are obliged to make anyone who works out there have an induction on the equipment as even if they're used them before they want to…
  • Me! Totally need the same thing
  • Hey, you sound like your under a lot of stress because of this. Is there someone else you can talk to about it? He might come round to it and maybe even join you in the long run but don't give up because of him. Pureeing vegetables and adding it to sauces works really well. Pasta tomato sauces, chili con carne, spag…
  • Left, bit more shape to it. altho that could all be through the miracle of a tan
  • Just tried these...interesting results. Not at all pancakey texture. Fell apart and became more like sweet scrambled eggs. Probably my fault for putting all the batter in at once and not making 4 individuals pancakes rather than one large one. It really took on the cinnamon I added.
  • Plenty of water. But also I eat light jelly - cos it manages to fill me with hardly any calories but doesn't need too much heavy digestion. That is if you can get past the sometimes nasty sweetener aftertaste. Or some delicious lil bits of meat like bresola. And obviously saving those calories. Good luck!
  • Hey, I'm doing an MA in Leeds, in an arts subject i'm afraid  And I'm not a pear shape...i'm just an all over fat distributing machine. I'll be your friend if you'll have me
  • Female 22 (23 this month) 5'7" SW: 190 Start Date: on and off for aggggesss...i'm talking years lol GW1: 140 ish
  • Bresola - wind dried beef - expensive but bloody tasty, any kind of fish, my fave is tuna with vinegar and homemade light mayo/hollandaise, egg white omelettes, fishcakes...
  • Any meat (for something lean mince or even quorn) and onions in a pan for a minute or two. Once fried/cooked - just add a lil water to lift the stuck on stuff to pan add a tin of chopped tomatos. Blend as many vegs you have lying around (broccoli, aubergine, babycorn, peas I mean anything) and add appropriate amount so…
  • It worked for me and a friend. However by worked I mean there was weight loss, but neither of us could stick with it long enough to reach our goals altho we've lost a good couple of kilos. My friend keeps coming on and off it, (xmas and easter hiccups) but I've decided to take what I learnt from it (the values of protein)…
  • Personally like the aussie and scottish male accent (ewan mcgregor may have coloured my judgement there) Find it funny when Americans say they like English accents cos when I was out there only 1/10 could tell I was English, most thought I was Australian and I have a Queens English accent as well...
  • Awesome, no need to spend money on weights then! thank you for the quick response.
  • Hey, I'm thinking about getting this. Can't seem to find much actual information about it just people expressing their inch-lost love! (of course i'm probably looking in the wrong places) What weights do you need? Can you just use heavy books/litres of water or is their a precise weight? Do you do the workout every day or…
  • Wow you look amazing! Good luck!
  • I could probably do a 12 min run straight up too, but I started off on week one just make sure because it's quite different - lots of chopping and changing for a whole 30 mins. I would recommend starting at the beginning to see how you feel and then you can always skip or repeat, I'm on week 3 but have repeated quite a lot…
  • Hi, there's no fail there - you actually got outside! Try a programme called from coach to 5k, or c25k, I have it as an app but its also on the net, it gradually builds you up to doing 5k in half an hour. It's been really highly recommended to me. Good luck!
  • You are in no way alone! I'm nowhere near to losing the weight you have, well done btw, and already have awful stretch marks/sagginess. It's just hard luck and a sign of success of how quickly you'ev lost the weight. I suppose the only thing to do is tone like hell and use intensive products like bio-oil and moisturising…
  • Thank you, that was what I was going to say. And I was asking what these ready made brands that have good nutritional content actually are.
  • Well burger buns are normally awfully made stuff so I wouldn't be surprised, I give it to the person with me/dog. Where do you get such mythical low in everything bread? Most I can ever find is danish white light which I don't really trust, and it's almost impossible to judge the calories on something nice, brown and…
  • Yeah the IUD or IUS, one of them is the copper one and the other hormone release (mirena), sorry should have used it's proper name
  • Never heard that multiplying thing, doesn't sound particularly scientific to me, try the tools that you find on here to work out your BMI and BMR, that'll give you a better idea. Drinking water is the best for hunger pangs, before, during and after eating. Or look up carbs that are slowly digested like swapping white pasta…
  • Not sure if anyone else has mentioned it but the coil is a great alternative to the pill. I was on POP pills, progesterone only, which really didn't work for me hormonally with all kinds of side effects and a complete pain to remember to take every day. A few of my friends got the hormonal coil before me all without…
  • Just tried the Philadelphia Light soft cheese and salmon - was awesome! Thanks!
  • You've just answered my prays. Miss falafels more then chocolate!
  • I've been on it roughly two weeks. I actually found my energy levels go up considerably, but that might be because I didn't go to the gym for my normal two hour workout but just kept to walking and cycling. I did this cos Dr. Dukan recommends in the book to not exercise intensely whilst first starting out.I believe he…
  • Swimming! The problem with sexercise is that it doesn't seem to exist in the eyes of those controlling the database. who knows how many calories its worth?
