I am 5'6" and hovering around 140. Currently trying to maintain, but when I am less stressed from classes I will probably try to lose 5-10 more pounds. Please excuse the dirtiness and the messy mirror....

Socks, but unlike the poster above me I did NOT do the workout that day without them. My headphones, also. Long workout. A few times, my phone has died during a workout, which is just as annoying.

I'm 5'6". I started at 156. My initial goal was 140 but I just passed that. Now I'm just aiming at looking good, around 135 or 130 probably!

Do you know how much your body naturally burns per hour? Don't you need to subtract that from your hourly total or else you're counting calories already figured into your MFP goal?

From looking at your diary, it seems you aren't eating enough calories - you are even under 1000 some days! Why can't you reach 1200? If you ate less than that every day before you started MFP there would have been no reason to start this site in the first place - you would have never gotten overweight eating at that…

What about the ellipticals that have you enter your weight and age? Some do at my gym, and I always put less than I actually weigh so I don't overestimate calories burnt.

I go with the machine, because that at least knows how hard you worked. For me, MFP is always much lower than the machine - perhaps my machine estimates high, or maybe I work harder at it than MFP thinks I will? I even set my weight lower on the machine since I've heard they can sometimes overestimate calories burned.…

Besides the heat, were there any other signs you were about to faint? Did you feel a certain way - i.e. dizzy or anything? I know people who've had many products, including artificial sweeteners, throughout their lives and have not had brain tumors. Can I say drinking soda/having artificial sweeteners stopped them from getting a brain tumor? With as much veracity as your claim that it caused them. We've got the same proof.

Pringles - 900 cal for a tube, and I'd eat that in 2-3 days. Cookie dough (nestle premade) has 90 calories per cookie, and I'd just sit down and eat 4 or more at once. (You're not supposed to eat raw dough, but that wasn't my concern.) Juice too! You think, "Oh, juice is healthy!" but even if it is, it's almost never low…

Exercise more! A lot of the time, I only exercise so I can eat more :) It doesn't make you that much hungrier, but you get to eat as many more calories as you burn.

I drink a glass of skim milk or eat a couple cookies (they're small and only 50 cal each).

I lost about 6lb on my own (mostly water weight) and now 10lb through using MFP.

When I can I weigh in nude. But I am at the dorm most of the time, so I can't do that (the scale is in a community bathroom). I usually just wear a lighter bathrobe or a big t-shirt at those times.

I get exercise-induced runny noses too. I know it's not the cold weather because they happen indoors and outdoors, on a treadmill, path, or elliptical. I'm bumping for interest. My only way of dealing with it is keeping tissues nearby.

I told a friend that my sister was "pesto-vegetarian" when I meant pescetarian (doesn't eat meat except seafood).

My pants are too loose and being a broke college student, I don't have money to go shopping for new ones. I bought a new belt but still, I actually dislike the feeling of badly-fitting clothes. I like my body, and I appreciate the message, I just dislike that one part of it :)
