Couple problems I see with this one... 1) I'd end up screwing myself with it! 2) I'd be the one cleaning up the mess!

I'm going to have to check out that iPhone app! My fiance's Durango is his baby...ooooh that would be FUN!!! lol

I started the first of the year and I've lost 13.5 lbs. Tomorrow morning is weigh-in, I'm hoping to hit the 15 lb mark.

Energy drinks. With 4 kids, they were a staple!!! But now if I need a pick-me-up, I'll have a second cup of coffee - even with cream and sugar WAY fewer calories than an energy drink! AND I enjoy it much more!:drinker:

Thanks!!! I've been looking for a belly dancing class in my area. I took one a loooong time ago (well...5 years ago) and LOVED it!!!!

I'm starting a new physical therapy program next week that is made for chronic back and neck pain (I fell down my steps 8 months pregnant with my daughter almost 6 years ago) and it's more about core strengthening than rehabilitation. I'm hoping that not only will I no longer have the back pain, but I'll get some moves out…

Thanks! Any suggestions as to what to try? Or websites? Or any other resources? I'm new to exercise! I have no idea what I'm doing! lol

2 1/2 years ago... I've had to go through massage and ultrasound therapy to work on the scar tissue. The doctor that performed my first c-section somehow messed up my incision. The doctor that did my second had to do some cleaning-up in there. I also have PCOS and the cysts are choosing the ovary on the same side as the…

I'm trying to do some ab strengthening in hopes that it helps with back problems and so that the muscles can take the place of some round ligaments that never bounced back after pregnancy (both of my babies were over 9 lbs... they left a mark! lol) I was just hoping that one of the added bonuses would be to see the belly…

I posted on facebook about practically the same thing yesterday: I was almost discouraged by my slow weight loss... then I stopped to think about it. Money is tight, our food stamps were cut (drastically, like down to a third of what we were getting), so we're eating pizza a lot because it's cheap (well, free most of the…

I've got 4 kids ages 5, 4, 3, and 2... coffee isn't an option, it's a NECESSITY!

Strawberry yogurt with a tablespoon of chocolate chips. Works out to be about 170 calories with the Yoplait Lite yogurt.

I think it's however your body is MEANT to be... I've got friends that look amazing skinny! I know that I'M not meant to be skinny, I'm meant to have curves (proven by the fact that I'm losing weight, yet am looking at going UP a cup size). You need to be comfortable in your own skin. THAT is sexy.

Pick one and use it for your official weigh-ins. Even if the actual weight isn't accurate, it should still give you an accurate reading of the difference from your previous weigh-in.

I still log my foods on my cheat day, but yes, I allow myself the occasional cheat meal (we went to the Chinese Buffet for lunch a couple days ago, Valentine's Day we're going to Applebee's) what's really cool is seeing how my overages are decreasing as I get farther into this new life.

Even when I reach my goal weight, I will still weigh more than my fiance.... but only by 10 lbs rather than 125!

We start the birthday craze in March. March 12 is my step-daughter, April 7 is my daughter, July 28 is my son and me, August 13 is my fiance, and September 9 is my step-son. I don't feel like we ever get a breather because then there's Christmas... I've been walking at the YMCA with my ARMHS worker (adult rehabilitative…

Thank You!

Totally stupid question, but how do you get your weight loss ticker to show up on your replies? I wanna show mine off, too! lol

Me too!!!

You ladies are both welcome to add me as a friend! I, too, am a SAHM and am aiming to lose about 116 lbs. It's nice having buddies that have similar goals, those only looking to lose "those last 10 lbs" don't quite get it!!!

I used to be this way... but then I moved 3 times in 3 months... and once more a year later... I got rid of A LOT of stuff that I no longer wanted/needed during all those moves. Kept a few sentimental pieces.

I allow myself 1 big cup of coffee with cream and sugar each day, then I keep my bottles of water in easy reach all over the place! I usually have 2 or 3 open at a time placed around the house! (I'm a stay at home mom)
-
When I have the uncontrollable desire to munch, I keep my bottle of water in hand at all times! I chew a piece of gum (5 calories is better than what's in brownies, chips, and pizza!) I brush my teeth! Sometimes I just go to bed!!! I'm trying to lose weight for my wedding, too.
-
I dish out my one serving and put the rest in an inconvenient, hard to reach place. Usually my laziness will overcome my desire for more! lol Another trick is to brush your teeth and drink a glass of water when you're done. It gets that lingering taste out of your mouth.

My fiance is picking up a Twix ice cream bar as I'm typing this. AND he brought pizza home from work (he works at Domino's) so I'll be having pizza tomorrow.

I don't have a scale. I use my Wii balance board to weigh myself. I figure if I'm using the same device, it will at least be consistent if not 100% accurate.

I've got a few... Looking HOT in my wedding dress when I FINALLY marry the love of my life!!! New clothes!!!! (I don't remember NOT having to shop in the plus size section) A new tattoo... or two... or three...

Keeping my bottle of water in hand at all times when I have the strong urge to munch (but don't want to lose any more valuable calories to cravings) seems to really help, too. I used to mindlessly munch while on the computer or watching movies, I've taken advantage of that bad habit, but instead of munching I drink. I…

I've discovered that Tootsie Rolls work really well for my chocolate cravings. They are chewy so you've gotta work at them a bit (tricking yourself into thinking that you're eating more). And are fairly low cal. I'm still trying to work out the salty cravings. This month it was tortilla chips (rather than potato chips) and…
