When I started (6 months ago) I had 11-12 pounds to lose. Now I have 2 lbs left to reach my goal weight, but I think I will have to re-evaluate once I get there.

I always thought that as your level of fitness and endurance increased that you would burn less calories at the same workout than when compared to your less fit self. Am I wrong?

I'm about 3lbs away from my goal weight. I've cut down on cardio and have started lifting 3 days a week now. I run 2 days a week, and on one of those days I do HIIT.
