PROTEIN! I drink whey protein powder with skim milk after workouts. Gives calories, helps with recovery, and it's super healthy. Also up your protein portions, whether it is eating 5 oz of chicken instead of 3oz, or having a hard boiled egg or two for a snack. Nuts are great high cal, healthy snacks. It's a lot of fat, but…

Hahaha I do this too! My husband now knows to ask, "Did you portion that for yourself already?" before he comes sneaking my food off my plate :)

Baltimore County!

You CAN do it! That is why I try to post successes, because it inspired me so much along this crazy journey. YOU'VE GOT THIS! :)
-
Gosh, that is really flattering! :) I am a shortie - only 5'2''!

I lost my first 20 pounds in exactly two months. I ate 1200 calories a day and exercised 4 - 5 days per week. When I plateaued after the first 20, I realized I'd been under eating thanks to these boards, and then upped my calories to BMR. I still work out 4 - 5 days per week, but now eat back more exercise cals than before.
-
Thank you! You are SO SO sweet! :)
-
Thanks friend :)
-
This makes me feel so great! You can do it!!!
-
That is why I like to share! When I first started, I stalked the success stories boards when I was feeling depressed and like I couldn't do it, and they picked me up and made me feel like I could do it! I am so glad to help you!

Oh, I totally did. I hadn't realized how bad it had gotten at all. I saw that picture and was like "OH MY GOD." The dress is definitely too big now. Looks fine in the photo, and I could actually wear it out, but it isn't clingy like it's supposed to be . . . it's rather loose! :)

You know how much I love having you as my buddy :) I was fighting the same 3-4 pounds for like two weeks and it finally dropped down. Not sure exactly what happened to change it, but it was frustrating. You'll get there!
-
Thanks! It isn't styled too fabulously in this photo, but I love it! After losing so much weight, the long hair to hide my chubby face had to GO!
-
130 is my goal as well! Sounds like we really are right on the same spectrum! Thanks for the add :)
-
By the way . . . my name is totally Kasey too! :)
-
Good luck! I know you can do it! Just keep on working :)
-
Sizing issues fixed! :)

Carrots and hummus. Cool whip free & fresh berries. 100 cal popcorn bags.

You totally can! I was sooooooo nervous, thought I couldn't do it, thought I'd be disappointed in myself. But I was WRONG! Think positive! You'll be amazing!
-
I live in Baltimore! :) I'm excited to try some more. I'll have to sign up for the updates too!
-
So proud of you!

5' 2''! Happy to be friended :) I've dropped ALMOST 30 pounds, and am headed towards my last 20-25, all with MFP! I started January 1st at 183 pounds, and am 154 pounds today.
-
I have about 20ish to go. Maybe a bit more, maybe a bit less! I dropped nearly 30 pounds easily, and this last 20 or so is much harder so far! I'm happy to be added if you like!
-
Amazing! You are such an inspiration MFP friend for me!
-
I was a 14.
-
Talk to you obgyn! I am sure it would be fine, but I would have THEM tell you what your nutritional goals need to be for the healthiest pregnancy. THEN you can manually set those goals on MFP and track them. Obviously it will have to adjust as your pregnancy progresses, but you can update it as your Dr. suggests as needed.
-
Very inspiring! You look wonderful - particularly that SMILE on your face!!!

I have a good friend who is right on my weight loss tail, but just a size or so up from me, so as I grow out of clothes and size down, I give her my old stuff. It's worked out really well, actually. Plus, I still get to see some of my favorite clothes at work - just on my friend and not me :)

I legitimately got MOOED at in middle school in the hallways. It really screwed up my sense of self. Ironically, in HINDSIGHT it was less about my weight than that I had ticked off the queen bee by beating her out for solos in chorus and got the lead in the school musical. The easiest thing to pick on me for was weight. I…

I'm 5'2''. I started at 183 pounds, and am now at 155. I would like to get to around 130 pounds (I think)! I've gone from a 14/16 to an 8/10, depending on the brand of clothing. This is the photo that made me realize something HAD to change, and soon! I took a "during" photo in the exact same dress to see the difference .…
