I like to have a cup of hot tea before I reach for a snack. It helps to have a variety of flavors. I sweeten it with Splenda.

I am currently at 185. I got down to 165 a year ago and it felt pretty good. I'm going to shoot for that for now and do some toning. Then maybe I'll shoot for 150.:smile:

Some days when I make a meal and I know what the total calories are, it is easier to just do a quick add of calories. So, I know that my chart for other nutrients may not be exact, but I can get a pretty good idea.

I know that I gain weight during my time of the month, so I don't even bother weighing until it's over. I still track my food and exercise though. We eat out more on the weekends, and that usually means more calories for me. I feel like I have more control of what I eat during the week because I usually eat breakfast and lunch alone. Try to eat more protein and see if that helps. I agree about adding 100 calories or so to make you feel better. You should still be able to lose weight and you will be more likely to stick with it.

I lost 40+ pounds on Weight Watchers. I have put 25 of them back on. I am trying MFP for several reasons. One, it's free. Two, I realize the need to track, and MFP seems to make it fairly simple. Three, I need the accountability that I seem to be able to get here.
