You people ROCK! I started as a tight 16/18, currently moved into a 14. When I started this my goal was a 12...I obviously need to re-think this. I am 5'3" and didn't want to get "ahead of myself" goal wise. So excited to see this thread and the possibilities. Thank you!

This is my second go around with this site. I too could use more friends so feel free to add me. I am on everyday (shhh, don't tell the boss!)

Sounds....interesting!

I too was once one of those "inactive" people. Really trying to do better this time around and could use a more active support group as well. Looking forward to getting skinny (I mean healthy)!

I could use some more friends...and laughs! I'd love to be included!

Yep, my friend keeps telling me that urge will stop. Not happening. I have an office job which has me sitting alot which seems to be worse, or at least I notice it more.

My name is Tammy, I am 41 and weigh 177. I used MFP to lose about 20 lbs over a year ago prior to a vacation. Of course after the vacation I became lazy about logging in. Shortly after I started a full time job and really took a turn for the worse...again. I ended up putting some of the weight back on. I recently had…

I had a laproscopic hysterectomy 2 years ago. I still have my ovaries so no hormone issues. 3 small incisions and yes I was sore a few days but would do it again in a heartbeat. I went home the same day also. One of the best birthday gifts I ever gave myself! :smooched:

I just finished the 3rd book a few days ago. Prior to knowing they were fanfic from the Twilight novels I felt the similarity. Scenes and verbiage can be repetitious but overall I enjoyed them.

So after my 4.5 lb lost during my last weigh in I wasn't expecting much for today's weigh in (don't know how I lost 4.5 in a week but I'll take it). So as I stepped on my scale this morning I told myself not to get discouraged (this was a tough week as we ate out 3 times which is unusual for me). Another 1.5 down, I was so…

Started this process at an 18, currently moving into a 16. Goal is a 12 and dream would be an 8/10. Not going too crazy here, want to be realistic with myself.

Not that small of a step at all, temptation can be killer. You did great and should be proud of yourself.

I guess I should add that I currently weigh 192 (lost 7 lbs. over the last 2 weeks since getting serious) and would be very happy at 150. I'm 5'3" and know that technically I should weigh less than that but I'm really trying to live in my reality and 150 would have me ecstatic!

Hi everyone I am Tammy. I have too much to lose to reach my goal weight by summer but could use the help staying motivated and keeping me on track. I work part time from home so "staying strong" can be challenging sometimes. I will also be going to Mexico in March as we do almost every year, it's always hard getting back…

I'm 39 and at 5'3" weigh 192. I got serious on MFP about 2 weeks ago and have since lost 7 lbs. A little self conscious about putting myself out there but would love to have people to communicate and share with. I've been up and down so many times with my weight that I'd really like to lose it for good this time. Feel free…
