  • Walking is good for you and your dog, I found this short read https://www.ahealthiermichigan.org/2011/01/28/six-ways-i-maintain-my-weight-loss/
  • For your first Spin class get there a little early and let the instructor know it's your first time so they can help set up your bike. Try to remember your settings for next time. Your butt will hurt after the first class but should be ok after that.
  • I have lost 8kg since October on Weight Watchers. I find going to meetings and "weighing in" keeps me accountable and get heaps of motivation from my leader. You don't have to buy their products it's just sticking to simply healthy and filling foods. I don't track I'm too busy to log food count calories or points I would…
  • London Fog, I bought it on special for $70CAN in Vancouver, all the jackets in Australia where very expensive but once we got to Alaska they were around $60US so could have waited till we got to our destination. The London Fog is great, nicely fitted and so light.
  • Bulking up your meals with lots vegetables, salads and fruit will keep your calories low. I really don't think it is sustainable long term and you would be missing out on necessary nutrients especially at such a young age.
  • So sorry about losing your dogs, it is like losing one of the family :( I don't live on property so I don't have that problem but I would keep them inside during the day in the months when the snakes are around and take them for a couple of walks on a leash for exercise. You can stand and stretch inbetween tracks, that gives you a little break. I have been spinning for 6 years now, doing 3 to 4 classes per week and still love it. If you are going to become a…
  • I am 5'nearly2" goal weight 138 at 50yrs. I calculated what my true weight should be on dukandiet.co.uk. It takes into consideration your age and how many children you have had.
  • Yes, I think it is the better option. I use it for frying steak, chicken and fish. Don't need alot when using a good quality non stick pan.
  • I tried it with crushed ice, beautiful on a hot day.

  • I'm going to Paris, Ireland, Sicily, Rome and Singapore in July. I want to lose 4.5 kg (9.9lb) before I go. Got tickets to see Bruce Springsteen in Dublin.
  • I use the Liddells Lactose free skim milk, not sure if they have hi lo. There's a fresh one called no fat with calcium.
  • Well done on the losses so far  I lost 600gm so really happy with that  This challenge has really made a difference to my mindset. Good luck to all those still to weigh in.
  • Have just entered my details on spreadsheet. Hopefully this will spur us all on.
  • Wow! 60 glasses is a challenge. Lucky it's summer here in Western Australia so much easier to drink when it's hot. Thanks Bestrodeo for starting the challenge. Maria
  • Count me in, my challenge for this week is to track everthing that goes into my mouth.
