Ahhh thats good, I can't keep up with all the words young people use. I had to be told what "hashtag" was all about.

Erm....... Pringle? Help out an senile old buffer here. What's a Pringle?

The option to use Stones and Pounds rather than just Pounds or Kilos. There are lots of us in the UK that still use the good old system of Stones and Pounds.

You're looking straight at me

If being single for three months makes you defective I would love to know what that makes me. Aged 47 and never had a relationship. I never even gone looking for one either.

I would have looked him straight in the eye and told him he had 3 seconds to get his hand off me and walk away before i scream rape. What a knobhead!

I was on an 26 hour flight from the UK to New Zealand so was looking for something to watch. I had heard of Glee but had never see it, so thought i would give it a try. I was flying alone so none of my friends or family would know my shame. :embarassed: I saw one episode from season one and thought this is so stupid....I…

After a great loss of 11lbs last week this week I hit a great big ZERO! Nothing gained, nothing lost. lol

My sister is much bigger than you in size all over, she's up in the 300+lbs area. She's losing weight and has mentioned to me that her breasts have lost a little bit of size as her bra is looser than it was and she thinks she will need to go down a size. Hers are so large if she could afford it she would pay for a…

If *kitten* counts as erxercise and calorie burning then there wouldn't be any overweight teenage boys aged between 13-19.

I have to say I agree with this. I don't know any guys that are put off or find stretch marks disgusting. It's possible the 18-20 may but they tend to be the immature ones that are only looking at women as possible conquests (if you get my drift) and objects rather than people.

Loose skin is quite an controversial topic. Some people say they have it, other say they don't. Some will say if you have it you can't get rid of it without surgey, some say you can. Some even say it doesn't exist. Firstly ncardell and Tanya the fact you are 29 and 30 goes in your favour. The younger you are the more…

A woman I used to work with liked a Taiwanese resteraunt called Leong's Legend in Cinatown. They have two resteraunts leong;s Legend I and Leong's Legend II a couple of streets away. For London they aren't expensive. It's the booze they hit you on so it's better to go for just water (also better for weightloss) and save…

Hi Carloine, I've had experience of both of these. Slimming World for about 18 months, Weightwatchers for about 7 months. In many ways they are very similar. Having a good advisor is very important. You need one that listens to you and what you say and deals with you and your needs and requirements as an individual and not…

Sunday about 9am by which time I've had breakfast, at least one cuppa and a pee. lol I don't think it matters if you weigh yourself before breakfast or after because the minute you eat breakfast you have altered your weight anyway. I think as long as you stick to weighing yourself the same day and approximate ime that is…

Whilst looking online for games I saw that in the UK they are realeasing Strictly Come Dancing (Dancing with the stars in the US) which is a bit of a puzzler as to how you do it if you don't have a partner to dance with. I went off to Youtube to see if I could find a trailer but nothing. I did find that there are two…

Hi Roblyssa, Thank you. I wish I hadn't been experimenting in the week adding measurements etc so it was from my start weight then it would have said 11lbs for the whole week rather just 7lbs since Wednesday. You look like you are doing an amazing job yourself and it's harder for you. Being as large as me it's…

Hi Jackie, I said on one of these many posts I'll be in. Because I started last Sunday there was no point me putting in an latest reading on the Wednesday so this is my first one. I'll be doing my weigh-ins on a Sunday not a Wednesday as that is the end of a week for me. I hope that is OK and I can still join in. Anyhow…

Ok ignore what I said about my SW being 338 it isn't it is 336. I converted stones and pounds to just pounds incorrectly. It's annying as it means I would have had an even better result than I have. Anyhow never mind it's check-in time. SW = 24st 2lbs (336lbs) Week 1 = 23st 5lbs (329lbs) This week I've lost 11lbs :drinker:

Great stuff welcome onboard. Try to think of your weight as gravity. Everything that goes up must come down. You are at the peak, your highest so now let the descent begin. Good luck!
-
Just remember you have control in the war with your scales. You can kill them by taking te batteries out. Then they'll be sorry! Keep going you have our support.
-
Bummer. I did that and it put me out for months. i hope you aren't as unlucky. Good luck with the weigh in tomorrow
-
Simply put lose 5 pounds by the end of the month. I'm sure you will if you keep within your allowances and exercise of you can. Good luck!
-
Wow your scales are accurate. Mine just does whole pounds. 3.8 is superb. Well done!
-
Great stuff! 2 down 3 to go and you still have plenty of time to do it. Congratulations! :)

Having seen various people looking silly doing this game on Youtube it does look like it's a good laugh. If it's possible to play against each other online perhaps some kind of competition tournament could be set up with all the people on here.

As stupid as it sounds, the theme from Rocky. No matter whether it's running or you are working out or just doing the cleaning up of the house, that tune just gets you motivated and moving.

Cool, I wonder how many of these games they can release before people start to tire of them? I'm not very techy at all. If your Wii is connected to the internet can you play against people online?
