  • If you are "sitting around with a baby" then yes, it will be hard to lose the weight. Did you say he just turned one? You need to get out and get active. Start working out, go for walk with your baby, find a workout to do at home, join a gym, if you want to lose the weight, you'll have to do more then just sit. I'd love to…

  • This! Even foods labeled as healthy, still have tons of extras in it that our bodies just don't need! Going fresh and homemade is always best.
  • I'm only 29, but I'd love to be your friend and help support you!
  • I really like doing Chalean Extreme. I take my portable dvd player to the gym with me and follow along with her, and have access to any kinds of weights I need. I like that she tells me exactly what to do, and there is a schedule to follow. There is no guess work in it. I go to the gym, and know exactly what I am going to…
  • Hello! Congrats on working on a new and improved you. What kinds of things are you doing to get started? Feel free to add me as a friend for extra support and encouragement..
  • Congrats on finally investing in YOU! Do you have specific goals in mind? I find it helpful to write down my goals. I like to make tangible goals that are easy to track, such as, I am going to work out 5 days a week vs I want to work out more. I want to drink 64oz of water a day, instead of I need to drink more water. I…
  • I have the same thing happen to me all the time. It is so hard to get back into it once I have had a bit of a break. I find that I need to schedule my workouts into my day/week. So if you are having a hard time getting into it today. Look at your day tomorrow and schedule your time to go to the gym or work out in your…
  • Are you actually hungry or just eating out of habit when you get home? If you are hungry then find healthy snacks to stock in the house, carrots, apples, bananas, cucumbers w/ salsa. If you are just eating out of habit, brush your teeth right when you get home, and nothing will sound good. I try to brush/floss when I get…
  • Good luck on your journey! Feel free to add me, I'd love to help motivate and support you!
  • Great job on the 91 pounds lost! Your gain may be from muscles and not fat. Just get back into and you can accomplish a lot! Have you heard of PB2? Its a dry powdered peanut butter that is way less calories, I think about 45 calories for 2 tablespoons. My local grocery store. Try substituting that instead of the regular…
  • Feel free to add me as a friend too! I'd love to help motivate and support you!
  • Like the previous poster said, make small changes each day and eventually these changes won't be changes, they will become your new lifestyle. Add friends to your profile for motivation, support and accountability. You have to make a choice each day. I read a quote once that said, "Losing weight is hard, Maintaining weight…
  • Feel free to add me! I'd love to help motivate and support you!
  • I really like ChaLEAN Extreme, yes it is a Beach body product, but I think it is great! It is a 5 day a week program, with 3 days of lifting and 2 days of cardio. However one of those 2 days still involves lifting. I think it is good to still have a mix of lifting and cardio. Even with only 3 days a week of lifting I know…
  • I just sent you a request too! I also have a 4 year old, they are busy little things aren't they! :)
  • I'd love to help support and motivate you! Accountability is key to losing weight, sorry you had such a hard time on the other board!
  • Do you strength train? The best way I know of to burn fat is to build muscle and eat clean, whole foods.
  • What kind of goals do you have set up? Are they large goals that you can see in the distance but when you have a bad day/week the goal seems so far away? I find it is most helpful for me to have smaller goals set up as baby sets to my ultimate goal. Having something concrete to see and monitor helps. If it's I want to lose…

  • You got this!
  • I'd love to be your friend and help support you. Do you have a plan in place for your workouts 6-days a week? I know I need a program to follow and get lost and confused at the gym if I don't go in knowing exactly what I am going to do! My portable DVD player with my workout programs tends to be my best buddy at the gym!
  • You CAN do this, because you ARE worth it! Try planning your gym time into your days, maybe meet their right after work or right before work so you don't get home and find other things to do with your time. Also, I would try changing your ind set from "trying another DIET" to changing your LIFESTYLE! Diets don't work,…
  • What about some yogurt and granola? Fruit infused water? gum? regular water?
  • welcome back to the wagon! :) I'd love to be your friend to help you see your goals through to the end! Feel free to add me! Do you you have specific obtainable goals written out? I find that is often the best place to start! Make smaller goals to help you reach your ultimate goal.
  • I'd love to be your MFP friend! I have two boys, ages 4 and 2 and know how hard it is to fit in workouts with little ones to chase after!
  • You need to do what is best for you! Don't worry about what other people say or what YOU think THEY are thinking. Haters are gonna hate. Just be active and healthy, and maybe you'll inspire others around you too! If you want to get to 160, DO IT! You got this girl.
  • Try and make as healthy choices as possible, maybe substitute a few apples or whole grain crackers or pop corn instead of a bag of chips at the store. Start making small changes and the rest will come. Do you have a grocery budget? Maybe start tracking exactly what your grocery money is going towards, and how much waste…
