Hello, I'm in a similar situation, minus the Uni part. I'm trying to not look at it as a diet, and more of a lifestyle change. It seems easier to process and manage that way.

Yesterday was my first day sticking to the 1500 calorie a day limit. At first I thought it was going to be hard, but I was just as full when I had my limited food than I would be if I had a McDonalds meal for my break at work. So that's a good sign for me.
