Me! A few years ago I lost close to 100lbs and now I have gained 60lbs of it back. Excuses for days and a pregnancy; but truthfully I have eaten whatever I want whenever I wanted. So here I am back to the grind... First goal is to lose the 60lbs I’ve gained back. Then I’ll still be overweight lol. One pound at a time, one…

Look at all these positive sources of support. This is why I love MFP!!! I started this journey in September 2014. I'm down 50lbs but still have another 100 to go. I am always looking for new friends. We can all do this. It's not the easiest or funniest thing to do but it can be done. And you never know what you will…

Hey Raven! We are close in starting weight. I started this journey in September at 332. I'm currently down to 280, so it can be done. I have two wild crazy (yet wonderful..at times) boys at home, ages 4 and 7. My house was and is still full of junk food. We lead a very busy rush rush kind of life most days, so poptarts and…

I'm 27 and on a 100+ lb weight loss journey. I've lost 40lbs but have been stuck lately. Feel free to add me as a friend. This road is long and not always easy so the more support, the better.

Another PCOSer here!! Down 40lbs in the last 4 months. Its not easy but it is do-able. I am on metformin and aldactone to help with my insulin and hormone levels, and monthly doctor's visit of level checks. I have two beautiful crazy boys so don't think PCOS is a death sentence from having children. Always happy to try and…

I graduate with my bachelors in May so I am not a college student for much longer. I get up early and go to the gym on campus most days. Or if I have an early (like 8am) class, I pack workout clothes and head over after class. For me, the access to alcohol the first year put several pounds on me. There are so many calories…

Started with roughly 130lbs to lose. Lost 43 of them. My boys are 4 and 7. Feel free to add me. Always looking for more friends. Everyone needs all the cheerleaders we can get.

Thank you everyone for the kind words of support. It's so nice to know you are not alone in this struggle.

I seem to thrive off high stress. Lol. I bought a dress for graduation (jn May) about 6 months ago. It hangs outside my closet door everyday. Its currently only 2 sizes smaller than what I am wearing. Its my daily motivation to keep going. Plus I want at least one photo of myself where I don't hate what I see. I don't stay…

My starting weight was 332, so I understand completely. I am currently at 289 and a LONG way from where I need to be. Set small goals and reward yourself when you reach that goal. 100 (or more) pounds is a lot to think about losing, so i try to focus on little chucks of 10-25 pounds for goals.

I dont have a goal weight..but I know I need to lose atleast 100lbs. Ive lost 43 in the last 4 months and am looking forward to what i can do in the next 4 months. Always looking for more friends.

Hey  Looks like we are after similar things. I am 27 and started out with 100+ pounds to lose. Ive lost 43 but still have a LONG way to go before I am anywhere near a 'normal' weight. Feel free to add me. The more friends = the more support = the better the journey can be.

Hey Charchatxxx! I'm 27 with PCOS too. (Not the club I was hoping to join  ) Im always looking for new friends. I like low carb..no carb/super low carb makes me evil. Gluten free can be very expensive (and not very tasty). I would agree that unless you truly need to be gluten free for a medical condition,…

Hey :) I just bought a Fitbit Charge. Should be in this week. A little afraid of the honesty it may give me. Always looking for new friends. 27 yo F SW 332 GW ? CW 292

Realistically I need to lose about 150 pounds. I would be happy to lose 100 of that. I'm already down 40 pounds since September 1, so I am trying to be positive that 150 is do-able. I haven't been that small since high school, yikes. Always looking for new friends to push me in the right direction.

Hi Rebecca, from another Rebecca. I am new here too (but not to MFP).

I am in a similar situation. I am in nursing school with my last 3 semesters before me. I have two wonderful children but long for a third. I know that at the current weight I am at, getting pregnant will be harder on me than it needs to be. So here I am, 12 months away from when we will start trying and 74lbs away from my…

HW : 330 CW : 315 GW : 180 I would love to see 180. But if I could make it back to 250 which what I was before kids I would be thrilled. For the moment just focusing on getting under 300. I got down to 302 in March but gained back after I stopped using MFP.

Don't give up. It's not a death sentence for having children like they make it sound. I have had PCOS since I was 16. I am also the proud mother of two little boys. Weight loss is harder for us but it can be done. Every pound lost will help with the symptoms. Find good people like the ones on here :) to keep you motivated.…

Typical stressed nursing student here. :) Looking forward to being out on school and on the floor with wonderful ladies like all of you.

I am a size 26, so I am no small thing by any means but I have gotten a bunch of really nice clothes from second hand shops, consignments stores, Ebay and craigslist. Cuts way down on the cost and allows me to be able to buy more. My favorite bra is from Lane Bryant but I bought it new with tags from Ebay for half price :)

Im a fat Ex-Army wife. Lol. Feel free to add me. Really need to lose the 75-100 lbs I gained being an army wife. Man, that lifestyle and stress is HORRIBLE on your weight, though two pregnancies didnt help matters any. Here's to losing weight together!! :)

I am HOPING to lose 51 pounds by the first of August for my wedding. Every pound over that is extra awesome-ness. Lol. If I could lose 76 pounds by 8/1/2012 I would have reach my first goal. At this point every pound I lose is a happy dance. As long as I FEEL beautiful on my wedding day I can care less what the scale says.…

I weigh every morning after I get up (and go pee. lol) My scale is in the bathroom so it just right there looking at me. I like to weight daily because I NEED to know. If I gain a pound, I feel more motivated to work harder the next day and try to push myself more. And every morning I get on there and the number is smaller…

Hello :) My name is Rebecca. I am a full time nursing student and mom to two amazing little boys (18 months and 4 years). I started 8 days ago on my weight loss journey. I have to say that I LOVE this site. I am getting remarried September and for once I want to be happy to go shopping for something to wear. After two…

I'm 24 with PCOS, one very bad knee and two crazy toddlers so I feel the pain that problems can cause in losing weight. Feel free to add me as a friend. PCOS sucks!! but it can be beaten and I am determined to kick its butt.
