Hi Terri! Thought I'd log on today and see if I can find a group to motivate me :-) I turned 50 in March, and I really need to sort my weight out. Attended a party of Saturday and someone took a shocker of a photo of me! I think I need to lose around 35-30 pounds. It seems impossible!

Hi Lauren. I was vegan for the whole of January last year, and I managed to lose 11 year, which I was very pleased about!. I'm vegan again now, but just for the month. In addition I'm off the booze as when I tracked calories in last year it seemed to be booze that killed my weight loss. Good luck!

I recommend kettle bell workout DVDs. You can do them in 10 minute sections.

Hi there I walk to and from work for 40 minutes a day, and see no 'weight loss' benfits. However, last week I ran 3 times for 20 minues, and this made a real difference to my weight loss. I think at least - it was the only thing I did differently! Hope that helps. Kay

Well, it is early days for me, but... I keep telling myself to remember how rubbish I feel when I go over the calories. I've woken up for months feeling bad about myself, but now that I'm keeping on track I'm no longer obessing about food. That feels good, and I don't want to go back to hating myself!
