  • When things are posted in the wrong message board. Oh, and I say, nomnomnomnom...It's kinda a toddler mama thing.
  • Lol - you may not be worried about turning orange, but it can happen. It is extremely weird, but your hands can turn orange! Other than that, I don't see an issue with it. Unless you turn into a rabbit....
  • I get severe headaches when I ingest aspartame or sucrolose, even 1 sip/bite's worth. Some people react to them, and some don't. Mine was a developed "allergy" (if that's what it is) though - It didn't used to give me headaches until about 5 or 6 years ago. I can't even chew most gum because it is made with aspartame, and…
  • It depends on your body, to be honest. I was a DDD (E) pre-pregnancy, and went up to an I, but in the 18 days I've been tracking calories and working out, I've went back down to comfortably fitting into my old DDD bras, PLUS I'm still breastfeeding so they should go down even more down the road! It is awesome! I'd love to…
  • Yeah everything is in there correctly...oh well...It is getting easier to exercise, so I know it isn't all for nothing.
  • For the 26 minute, 220 calorie burn, my average HR was 156 and my max was 184. My target is 129-169...I was using a Pyle last week until it just stopped working, but it was estimating way more...I guess I just got used to seeing bigger numbers.
  • Glad to have given you a different perspective. :flowerforyou:
  • Some people might have had virtually no activity level before joining MFP, so if they are doing something outta the ordinary, then why not log it? I don't count things like dishes or laundry, but if I go outside and mow the lawn (push mower obviously), then I'll log it. If a person is starting from a point in their life…
  • Other than fats, carbs, and protein, I track my sodium because I have a tendency to go over, and I track my calcium, because I don't always get enough, and I NEED to get enough because I'm breastfeeding and it totally saps all my calcium!
  • I can't wait until the 30 days are over! LOL
  • I definitely have more stamina than when I started!
  • Haha...not only do I do the low-impact one, but I can't hold a proper plank position - I end up with my butt in the air and my arms way out in front of me. And while I can feel my legs getting stronger (I can do the "hard" squat in the v-thingies), my upper body strength is just sad. My shoulders/arms are WEAK! Oh, and I…
  • I can definitely see a difference! I can't see a difference between my own 1 week and 2 weeks pictures, but I can in my own before and 2 week pictures - I'm in a facebook group for the 30DS and everyone lost several inches (over the whole body, not just 1 part) the first week, but this week we all only lost 1-3 inches over…
  • My only rule is to log every. single. thing. even that pinch of raw sugar I ate as I poured the bag into its container. Yup. And I don't deprive myself - if I want something, I work out so I can eat it. A lot of the time, I find the food isn't worth the calories and I make a healthier decision.
  • For the majority of people, a calorie deficit alone will cause weight loss. Do I try to eat healthy? Of course. Do I deprive myself? Heck no. I had TWO Triple chocolate Ice cream bars today, and they were glorious. Absolutely glorious. I'll probably eat the last two tomorrow too. Are they good for me? Nope, but now I…
  • Awesome NSV!!! It is so rewarding to find you fit into old clothes!
  • We had Spinach Florentine Flatbread for an appetizer (SOOO GOOD!), and then I had the "Petite" Balsamic Glazed Chicken Caesar Salad (dressing on the side, and I only needed half of it!) with French Onion Soup! Then we went to Starbucks and spent a $5 giftcard I got for doing a survey, and I got a Tall Carmel Machiatto with…
  • Had a great time! And I'm still under my calorie goals for the day! In fact, I need to eat a little more! I even had a Caramel Macchiado from Starbucks, and a chocolate ice cream bar! It wasn't a very healthy day, but it wasn't an overeat day either!
  • Last few nights I've been eating a whole serving of Granola with bits of Dark Chocolate in it! YUM! Last week, I was eating a small portion of organic plain yogurt, 2 tsp of local raw honey, a cup of semi-frozen raspberries, and a half serving of granola. It was a HUGE bowl of goodness, and felt like a total splurge! YUM!!
  • I was eyeing that, too! Decisions, decisions!! I can't wait!
  • Wow! Thanks for all the feedback! I especially like the guy's point of view...I didn't even think of how my husband might feel if I stress over calories - I think I'll order what I want (which if we go to Friday's is DEFINITELY the French Onion soup, and not because it's low calorie! YUUUUM!) and pace myself and then take…
  • Wow...so far the only restaurant that I was able to think of that actually had their nutrition information online is TGI Friday's, and OMGOSH at the calorie counts on those things! The appetizers alone have more than half of my calorie allowance for a day! And I saw "Green Bean Fries" and thought just maybe they'd…
  • I've never met another Virginia before other than my husband's grandmother. =) Thanks for the suggestion - I'll look online and see if I can find some calorie information!
  • I'd just made 1 meal, and then have them try it - you would be surprised the stuff kids will like given the chance. They learn their eating habits from us, so you are the only one who can change their diets full of "high sodium junk". They only eat that way because you give it to them - it could be a hassle at…
  • Anyone? =/
  • I got the $25 Pyle HRM from Amazon...though I'm sort of skeptical of whether or not it is accurate...I wish I knew for certain. Anyways, for level one, I averaged about 260 something, but for level 2 today, it said I burned 350! HUGE difference! I sure hope it is accurate, since I normally eat my exercise calories. My HRM…
  • I can see your stomach is toning! And I can see the difference in your back as well! =D
  • So now I'm super confused! I can touch my fingers around my wrist, however when I did the measurement thing, it told me I had a large frame! Lol...So many I have a large frame with long fingers? Though I didn't think my fingers were that long...however, my wrist is 6.25" around....I guess I'll see what frame I really have…
  • I think my biggest problem was portion size - especially with meats and carbs! I mean, of course I'm also an emotional eater, and would sit down and "drown my sorrows" in a box of multigrain cheerios (they have the word "multigrain" so they MUST be healthy!), but just my normal day to day portion sizes were way too big,…
