I noticed your calorie goal changed several times. Perhaps you need to stick to one.

Maybe your calorie allowance for the day is too high. The first thing to do is find out how many calories you need to consume for your goal. Opening your diary is a good idea.

I have been taking Synthroid for about 5 years now. I recently just had to up it to 88. I thought it was supposed to help with weight loss...but after reading some of these posts I am not so sure. eek!

I hear ya. If your friends aren't ready to be honest with themselves, they don't weant to hear it from anyone else either. It's hard. Be true to yourself and try not to worry about others. Be a good example.

Hi! I am 5'8.5" and I would like to be 180-199. I am currently 260. 160 is way too skinny for my frame.

So true about being like an alcoholic. This food addiction is like a drug addiction only we need to eat balanced to live. I'm an ex smoker and can't imagine having to smoke but in a regulated way. This is a tough journey... but we are worth it! :)

Giving up on this, is giving up on yourself. You are worth it. All or nothing does not work. You will feel deprived. Limit yourself. Drink water. Postive self talk. Small goals. Write a list of reasons to lose weight perhaps. Just don't give up. :) Feel proud for every success and remember we are all human.

Mine is much earlier but yes! Drink a glass of water. Don't have unhealthy foods in your house for a temptation. It sets you up for failure as you will eventually eat it. Pre plan perhaps what you eat because usually if you wait until last minute, bad choices are too easy.

I have recommended this to many people. I use my IPhone usually but thought I would look online. A lot of interaction. I love it. It keeps me on track.. You get out of things what you put into it.

I agree with the other posts. Not appropriate and has nothing to do with your weight. Not good on several levels...eek. To answer your question, generally women do not like to be pinched. Only my husband can touch my bottom and he doesnt pinch it generally because he knows it hurts.

Wow! Sounds impressive!!! I am not a runner and in fact if a muderer were to be chasing me down...I would just have to curl up in a ball and hope for the best. :) I am a walker. I tried running. It was very hard on my body. Keep up the good work!!!

I have had the Mirena (this is my second one) and I am happy as a clam. Bleeding again? No thanks! If I have gained weight because of it, I am unaware. My unhealthy eating and sedentary lifestyle is the cause for mine. This is the best thing since sliced bread!!! Good luck! :)

I am in the same boat with a lot of weight to lose. DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED!!!! This weight gain and unhealthy behaviours took us many years to accomplish, so it stands to reason it takes a while to get hyealthy! Baby steps!!! I weighed in at 300 pounds 4 months ago with needing to lose half my body weight. Sounds horrible…

I weigh in every Monday morning. It helps get me out of bed!!! I do cheat sometimes and take a peek...it keeps me on track! I started this weight loss after I got on the scale and it said 300 pounds. I cried. I am supossed to weigh 160. That is too skinny for me though and 180 would be better.:heart:
