I do all my exercises on an empty stomach. I do morning exercises first thing and then evening exercises before dinner. (lunch is at 11 am). I have actually found that if I try to eat before I exercise- then I get sick to my stomach. The only time I have been successful at eating and doing exercise is when I do my long…

Me too! The early A.M. is the only hard and fast commitment I can make. Otherwise it is excuse city for me! It's been about 6 weeks since I've made the change and I think I have adjusted okay.

I found this zumba calories calculator a while back online. I'm not sure that it is accurate but it will at least give you a loose idea of how many calories burned. You can then always add it to your list of exercises to track. http://caloriesburnedhq.com/zumba-calories-burned/

I log Breakfast, lunch and snacks first thing in the morning. I log dinner right before I eat. This way it helps me stay focused and I know exactly what I'm eating and how many calories I have left over if I need an extra snack. It also helps me feel less guilty about grabbing that snack after dinner- because I know my…

So I know how it is without a supportive family, been living it for months. I have started making healthy meals for myself a week ahead and sticking to MFP. If they bring in bad food and I am tempted to have a piece I look at the nutritional value- that typically puts me off of it right away because that it probably going…

I don't know your breakfast preference or time constraints but here are my quick and easy meal. Apple Cinnamon Refrigerator Oatmeal. 1 Waffle with Cookie Butter (Rare) 1/2 Bagel with Peanut Butter Cheerios with Protein Shake. I switch these up by weeks. All are pretty easy to make and I normally wash it all down with a…

My daughter is 8 as well and just getting into running. I let her decide how long she wants to run and how far. Typically she will do a mile three times a week at her own pace and she is loving it. : )

Hi there, I've not lost as much weight as you have, but I though I'd offer my opinion. I think that salads with some protein would be a great addition to getting you veggies and protein. Mixed greens with some grilled chicken would be flavorful and good for you. That would also give you another option besides boxed…

Good Luck to everyone! I've been off of soda for over six months and it's been great. It has really cut down on my sweets cravings, not so much on the weight. Just stick with it!

I have one of those dreaded desk jobs as well, all day everyday. Something that helps me tremendously on my snacking is having a structured routine while at work and consistently plan a weeks worth of breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. Knowing what I'm going to eat all week gives me less time to waffle towards the less…
