You look awesome!!! I have lost 30lbs and have gotten nowhere too! But I am carrying a ton of weight around my hips- so it is going to take more than 30lbs for me to drop a size. Yup still haven't dropped a size either. I would love to go down a size as well but no such luck. I'm a shortie so the extra weight around my…

I though I'd share what I do with mine. My has three ingredients. 1 Whole Egg 1 Pack of Instant Oatmeal ( I have a ton in the pantry) A splash of water. I scramble the egg first with the water so I get a really pretty yellow. Then I add in the oatmeal and make sure it's nice and coated by egg. Then I just pop in the…

Okay so this is definitely amazing! I now love oatmeal! I have never like oatmeal before now, refrigerator oatmeal- soupy oatmeal, none of it. But now I am in LOVE with baked oatmeal. Thanks for sharing!!

Bump for later

I end up going over by 500 to 800 calories one or two days during the TOM. That ends up equaling up to a 3- 5 lbs gain and then the minute it's over-Back down to normal weight at the time. One or two days doesn't kill me I have found out so I stopped beating myself up over it.

Bump for later.

Well I'm Leslie. And I don't officially work at walmart but most of you know me anyway. I've lost some weight already and will be here to support and encourage anyone that wants me too! You can also add me as a friend. :flowerforyou: MFP (myfitnesspal.com) has lots of great tools to get you started and help keep you…

I think that the classes are more fun than the DVDs. I can't compare videos but Zumba classes and DVDS are intense but fun. I was a complete beginner, no prior dance experience, when I started Zumba and found that it was pretty easy to pick up. (Class & DVD). I was exhausted and had to take a few breaks in the beginning…

Love the skinnytaste.com . Awesome thread! Here are a couple of additions: http://www.runsforcookiesrecipes.blogspot.com/ http://www.theyummylife.com/

Me too! LOL

None of the above. Just the sheer determination to say good by to the fat for good. And to actually run a 5k race with out stopping for a walk break. Those two things are keeping me going daily.
-
Nope. Totally a skinny kid. Didn't start gaining weight until high school.

A cup of dessert tea works for me most of the time.

LOVE Zumba!!! I do two live classes a week. Thinking of adding a third but don't know when. :indifferent:

I use my HRM and get between 600-800 as well. I created the exercise and input the correct data. Also the calculator that another user posted is pretty accurate with my HRM.

HIIT stand for High Intensity Interval Training.
-
I don't know much about intensity vs. duration. I do know that I do about a grand total of 60 mins a day exercise wise. In the morning it's HIIT for 30 min. In the evening it's running intervals for 30min. While I feel great at the end of each one- I am never really exhausted by the end of the day and am seeing great…

Nope still sweating! But I personally have had nothing inspiring to say.
-
Love this!

I have some of the same issues. I'm shorter though, but I do exercise about 5 times a week as well and in the beginning it was killing me not to see the scale move. But it was a lot of experimenting for me to actually get the 2lbs per week to come off. Sometimes you do have to experiment and listen to you body- do what…

Me too! Moisturizing does help. Mine look like battle scars from a fight with a wild animal now. Very light but still visible. They bother me sometimes but not enough for me to be super worried all the time.

All these pages and I'm the only April 9th.

Cauliflower- Yuck!! No matter how much I tell myself it's good or good for you I just can't stomach it!

I log everything, even cheat days. It's helps me cheat less.

^^ I second this opinion. A good place to start looking for a tailor, is you local JoAnn's bulletin board. I found a reasonably priced tailor to alter my clothing as I go down in size. Typically they are just starting out or are looking to build clientele. My tailor does it out of her home and does a great job. Sometimes…
