I am the EXACT same way! I do really well for a few days and then something happens and I just give up and it ends with binging...which then leads to being disappointed in myself. So, accountability and motivation is appreciated!! Feel free to add me.

Perhaps there's a beginners class you can take so that you can get acclimated with everything. The gym is very imtimidating! I completely understand what you say about wanting to lose weight before going to the gym bc you don't feel like you belong, I totally understand BUT that's what the gym is for. It's there there to…

I can imagine... You're right though, women tend to be less frank about the matter. I'm sure there are also men on there looking for something a little more meaningful...that just wasn't my experience.

Although not currently on Tinder, I did try it out for a few weeks. Seems to me as though most of the men on there (or at least the ones I encountered) are looking for a hook-up and not much else...

That is true!! It doesn't equate to human interaction

I'm not too fond of dating younger guys; however, I'd say the youngest would be somewhere around 27 (I'm 30). As for older, I'd say 36ish...

I completely agree with you. I, too, do not keep sweets in my home for that very reason. My "sweet" arsenal consists of honey and pure maple syrup. It's outside the home that I struggle. Everyone is different and different things work for different people.

I am right there with you! Sugar addiction is a legit thing! I'm trying to learn to eat in moderation because I have learned that when I go cold turkey, I end up sabotaging myself in the long run. Also, try not to beat yourself up. Treat yourself just as you would someone else in the same situation, not harder. Anyone is…

I gave up soda and fast food (but still have some on rare occasion) in July 2013 but sweets have been a consistent battle. I can not seem to get myself under control. I go a few days, binge, and repeat. It's terrible. I, too, need support. I've added you and welcome others to add me!

Boy do I know what you mean! Sugar addiction is a legit thing. The terrible thing is, people can manage life without alcohol, cocaine, etc., but managing a life without sugar is almost impossible. It's everywhere!! I'm glad I'm not alone in this struggle. Feel free to add me. Best of luck, everyone!

Stunning! Congrats to you!

That is absolutely wonderful news! Thank you for sharing. Everyone starts somewhere and goin slow is best. You are completely correct in that trying to do too much at once is a recipe for failure. I'm proud of the progress you have made, it is no easy task. I recently started using MFP again after a long hiatus. I, too, am…
