Just a heads up…I believe there is a scam going on as this is the email that I received this afternoon. Of course I will not respond. Aria Morgan <aria@joyfoodjournal.com> 5:05 PM (1 hour ago) to me Hi Nell, We built a better MyFitnessPal. No crowd-sourced foods. No slow logging. No ads. And a full workout library. Best of…

@Evamutt Under the food diary search you get the "error" message? Would it be that the app needs to be deleted and reinstalled to reset? 🤷
-
How do you make the names highlighted? Thanks for teaching me the ropes!

@BCLadybug888, what a beautiful view, enjoy every minute! Such a cute bag, may the next be as joyfully endurable!

Thank you :) The only friend requests have been random males as you described, lol. I am happy to be here and after looking through the different groups, they are mostly like you described. Thanks for your input, it helps clear up questions!

When I go to the group search and enter, 60 yrs and upthe search bar tells me this group does not exist. Nor is this group listed under My Group. Even though I have posted here the only way for me to find this group is to either bookmark it or look under notifications. Any suggestions?

Thank you, I find that everything needs to be checked anyway. May I add you as a friend and if anyone else would like to be, that would be terrific! Thanks for your help! My name is Nell and I live in Eastern Oregon.

From my history I started MFP in 2012, yikes! Around 2017-2018 I reached my goal as I had been diligent in food prep, macros, etc. and weight lifting but I found myself exhausted, no matter what I did. That is what the profile picture is from, if you can see it. Today I need a healthy relationship with food, loose 30 lbs…

Good Morning, I'm "new" here, returning from a few years ago. Saw this group from comments from AnnPT77. Retired May '24 and taking a bit to get adjusted to not just being a recliner rat. How do I join a group?

I had headaches off and on for years, it wasn't until I started lifting and my trainer said drink more water did they subside. The drs I asked never could say, answer was always stress. Water is key, I agree.

This is the best explanation I have seen, Thank You! Currently doing comparison shopping, long time Android user is continually frustrated with product.

Drink water, lots of it.

It did, it did go through

Good Morning, Nell 58 years of age 5"10" CW:177 UGW: 150-160, at one point I was at 143, looked amazing but it wasn't right for me. Goal: To be in a realistic, healthy routine to maintain for life. I really enjoy lifting, it is the only thing that has helped me loose weight and keep the blood pressure in range with meds.…

I've been here awhile. Same, mostly, age of all of you. I woke up one morning realizing I was going to be old but I didn't have to be a fat, old lady..... Friend me if you like.

Just got back from the gym, nice and quiet evening!

I bought one at Target. Look for one that will tare out, put the bowl on the scale reset to zero. I also used wax paper to put food on to measure, less dishes and cheaper than paper plates. The food item to measure I got most excited about was to put the slice of bread on the scale, tare to zero, measure out peanut butter…

Trying to figure out what to have for supper.

I have been wanting to try this, great information!

Congratulations You!

I have never said "I wish I didn't go to the gym" and have said "I wish I would have gone to the gym". It all begins in what you really want...you have to find what works for you. It all works if you work it.
-
Which do you want....do you want to lose the extra weight with appropriate diet and exercise or do you want to be entertained? Use the positive results that you have had and be thankful for new areas and the "boring" will turn into a blessing, seriously, been there, done and doing that!

Some of my friends interest in me has changed, not open to my lifestyle change regarding food and food choices. Everything seems to have to be centered around eating and I choose not to eat, I'll drink and eat according to what I can for the day when we get together and there is generally a comment....

Burn it up! Great job in what you have achieved! Now you know you can and will keep it up!
