Right now I am using the protein drinks as a supplement as I am still on a restricted food intake as I am only 3 weeks out from LapBand Surgery. I cannot make my protein intake goal without a drink. I also like to use these as an addtion to my diet when I am on the run and can't get the proper nutritional foods on the run.

I finally understand what you all have said. I am also involved with getting the head straightened out too! I am doing so much better now.

I might for awhile but I know me. I would eventually talk myself into eating just one and then I would cave. And I don't think I could any better at your current job now. Good luck!

My hubby and I both love them. He loves the Strawberry premade - just like Strawberry milk he says. We also use Pure Protein powders, pre-made and bars. good...

I had the Lapband surgery on June 28th - making me a little over 2 weeks out. I had to wait six months and go thru a medically managed diet per insurance. Lost 35 pounds. Has the last two weeks been easy. I won't say yes. I was in the ER twice after surgery - couldn't breathe (swollen diaphragm) and then a week later with…

Yes - but in the end they were not really friends. They couldn't see past the 'fun' we had to the harm I was doing to my body... I have found new friends that like me for who I am not for being fat or thin or short or tall. They understand that I need to do this for me and not for them... Don't let your friend discourage…

I never thought I would say I like a vegatable burger - But we really like the Boca All American Flame Grilled burgers. STill gives me that BBQ flavor but no meat. Hubby likes them - next up is a black bean burger. I love beans so want to try that version...

I am one week out from LapBand. yesterday it felt like I grazed all day. Today - I fixed a protein drink at 10am and I am still full after only drinking 4 ozs... Re-learning this stuff is going to be challenging... And since I feel so full - my water comsumption is WAY down too today... But my tum does not want anything…

Will be an awesome day when I don't get the chub rub!!! Congrats on the NSV!!!

I am two weeks from LapBand surgery. I am excited as I am a professional dieter - and I have decided to become healthier. I am sure that in 4 weeks I will also be saying it was the best thing I have every done and should have done it sooner... Good Luck..

YEP - can't wait to say the same things. To reduce the number of doctors in my contact list, to reduce the meds, to get rid of the darn CPAP, the oxygen. I won't miss them... Surgery is 6/28.
-
Disturbing - but will keep to remind me that I am getting healthier... Thanks...

I have been told that by the time you get to the soft food phase you enjoy that first bite of food...

I had not thought of the cold popsicles dampening the hunger. I will keep this in mind as my two weeks are coming up. I have surgery on the 28th... Thanks!!!

Update for me. The surgeons office submitted my authorization request on Tuesday. Insurance APPROVED in less than 24 hours. I now scheduled for surgery on the 28th.

I have decided that right now family and bestest of friends if they inquire I have a friend right now who can't. Believe that I have lost the weight I have by just watching what I eat and portion control. And today I told her how much I lost so far and she turned away. She is bitter that I am successful and she isn't. Oh…

Wow - had not thought of verbalizing goals. I am having the LapBand surgery on 6/28. Here are a couple (short term) for right now. Tell my sister and stepdaughters I am having surgery - almost done - one stepdaughter to go. Make it thru surgery with no issues Manage the first 3- 4 weeks of post-op diet (still scares me -…

GORGEOUS!!! Seriously you should be proud of what you accomplished...

Yes - I broke my ankle on 4/8. I lost 13 pounds in 6 weeks - just hauling around my boot and normal daily exercise. I did about average 4 - 6 k steps a day. Diet was a tad over - but I did it... surprised the devil out of me too...
-
My husband and I love the Pure protein powders. Chocolate, vanilla and strawberry... And waht you add to them is up to your imagination.

I am working on visit 5 of six medically managed weight loss. If all goes well I could have surgery August-ish. Will keep checking in as the process goes along.
