Thanks! There is hope for everyone...as long as we can let in a little bit of it, it can turn into a whole lot of it! :)
-
Thanks everyone...it really does take time, but we can all get there! :)

I like your dog! Also, congrats on the loss you look great and I'm sure that you feel great! :)

I'm inspired by so many things. Today I'm inspired by those who work hard to make a better life for themselves by getting healthy. I'm inspired by those who face their fears and realize their own self-worth. I'm grateful for my life today and the life that I get to LIVE instead of just existing in...trapped in my own fears…

Yeah, I think that I would like to try Bikram...and thanks for the tip on the coconut water...I still need to try it! :)

I have the same problem with fried foods as well. I ate some over the weekend and I was SO beyond ill from it! I'm glad that I am connected enough with my body that I can get the signals from it when it doesn't like something. I don't drink milk because it upsets my stomach and so do some forms of soy and yogurt. It is…

You know...that is what has happened to me. I would find myself not eating meat for days and then I would say, I need to eat meat. But I feel like it "depresses" my system, and some of it is starting to gross me out. I'm not fully vegetarian yet, but I see it in my future. I've discovered a true love for other foods, but…

I do still have a little problem with moderation, so if it's something that I think I'll eat so much of that I will feel like crap afterwards I just won't eat it at all. That usually involves pizza, my major trigger food. I do eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, so I don't feel bad about not eating those in moderation.…

Food addict...TOTALLY! Emotional eater, binge eater, restricter then binger...basically I didn't know how to handle my emotions and so I ate to numb out. For me getting help with the emotional side has helped with the eating patterns. I also changed the type of food that ate - I know my trigger foods - which has been pizza…

That is so awesome! Congrats on your success! I know that it's a lot of hard work...keep it up! :)

Thanks so much! It's pretty cool! :)

I have been on both sides...asking people who have lost a lot of weight how they did it only to toss aside their information and continue to try and do things "my way". I was always amazed at how people could do that. Eat less, move more and YES lose weight! Well, then it finally clicked in my head after trying most diets…

I started off with splurge meals. That would allow me one meal to eat anything and everything that I wanted to eat! All other meals were healthy meals and so when I would eat my splurge meal I felt like crap! I will allow myself to eat anything; however, over time I have stopped eating certain foods because of the way they…

I agree! The first time I flew without overlapping the person next to me it felt SO GOOD! I almost cried as well...congrats to you!

Great picture and congrats on the weight loss...ROCK IT! :)

Hey...I'm so excited about this post. I'm 6'1" and wear an 11 wide shoe. I have always struggled finding pants long enough for me. Lane Bryant, Avenue and Torrid all have "tall" pants and they are actually long enough to not make it look like I'm expecting a flood! Now, I don't know about the other stores, because I'm not…

That happens to me - I think I've lost or done well and then I see a gain on the scale. What I ususally do is drink a bunch of water when I get back and eat fruit - like pineapple, watermelon, etc. to help flush out excess water. Even if I don't think that I'm retaining water I usually am. About 2-3 days later, or…

Good question! I've had surgery on both of my knees which developed into osteoarthritis. I've been able to do boot camps and P90X with my knees as they are. I would suggest talking to the instructor before the class and ask them for modifications to some of the moves that will not be so hard on your knees. I used to think…

Welcome back! You will find lots of support here. :)

I LOVE my Shakeology...I drink it every day...usually before my morning workouts. I mix mine with either peanut or almond butter and a banana. Helps with the sweet tooth as well! :)

Thank you so much! I've been working my *kitten* off...literally! :)

Thank you all for your posts. It is so great to have such wonderful people on here to turn to for support. I'm here for you guys as well. :)

I love P90X it is an amazing workout and really good for people that need the structure and don't want to create their own workouts, like me. They are all challenging, but the great part about it is when you finish a workout how accomplished you feel. I think you would really enjoy them. Good luck! :)

That is awesome! You look amazing! Keep up the good work! :)

I feel amazing! This can totally be done! :)

I haven't checked in here much, I completed W6D3, D4, D5, and D6. 2 were boot camp workouts, 2 were walking workouts and 2 were P90X workouts. I've enjoyed this week and I'll be ready to start up a full week of P90X workouts beginning tomorrow! :) I didn't weigh this weekend, the scale and I are currently not getting…

W5D1 & D2 - DONE!

This is week 1 of Phase 2 for me...I work out at the gym at my work, but I'm off this entire week, so I'm going to do boot camp for this first week and then start back up with week 2 of phase 2 next week. I do plan on doubling up and trying to get in more yoga and some meditation. I weighed in at 236...the scale is SO not…
