Is it too late to join? I just saw this post. I started P90X Classic on Monday, 01/10/11 due to muscle spasms I was experiencing in my back I did not start on 01/03/10 like I wanted. I have stats and pics as well, so please let me know if I can still join! Thanks!

Hey! Welcome! Well, here are some tips that I will pass onto you that helped me...these are only suggestions. 1 - Try to eat all of your calories that you have alloted for the day. I know, we think eating less will get results, but in the end it may be counter-productive. If I stop losing it is usually because I have…

Since you have so much pain I would recommend that you consult your doctor for exercises so that you do not further injure yourself. Good luck!

Also, what we eat can make us retain water. I've seen the scale be up 12 pounds one day and two days later it is all gone. That is just how my body works especially if I eat something with a lot of sodium in it. I'm pretty much guaranteed that result. Also, when you start to workout your muscles tear down and the rebuild…

We all deserve the right to be happy...we just have to believe that we deserve it! Change comes from within! I just take it all one day at a time, because that is all that we have. So today I choose to not overeat or give up on myself!

I was sick and tired of being sick and tired! My feet, back and joints hurt. My self-esteem was at an all time low. I didn't care about anything...just about eating and it was killing me! I was lucky enough to not get diabetes, high blood pressure or bad cholesterol readings, but at 343 pounds I was really killing myself…

There is so much that I love about my body now...actually I LOVE ME!!! Which includes my inner and outer self. It has been an amazing journey and I'm so happy for everyone's success on here. It is truly awesome! And for anyone struggling, just don't give up on yourself, the change WILL happen if you keep pushing through…

Little steps add up to bigger things. I'm sure not drinking soda was hard to do, but you're doing it. It's the same with everything else. You'll get there and totally do it!

It took time for me to change my habits. I would go in "cold turkey" and then lose all steam and go back to old habits. Only this time was different because I didn't give up. And over time my habits started to change. It is a process. I do spin classes, walking, strength training and will be starting P90X soon. You will…

Awesome job! You look amazing! :)

You know...this very much depends on the person. I will say that when I first started my lifestyle change that having a splurge meal was SO important to me. I meant that I could "never eat that food again" mentality that I had when I went on a "diet" was not there. I also struggled with being on point one week and then…

Thanks so much!! It's been a great journey...WORD!

I buy a rotisserie chicken and de-bone them. Then I have them available for salads with mixed greens, strawberries, walnuts and balsamic vinegar - or chicken with brown rice and veggies. You can always make a wrap with a whole wheat tortilla, chicken, black beans, avocado slices, lettuce and tomatoes, cucumbers etc., with…

Your metabolism has kicked in and it's burning! When this happens to me I make sure to eat more smaller meals throughout the day and drink a ton of water, because you might also be dehydrated. Your body will sometimes signal hunger when it really wants water. I will also drink a mineral water with fresh lime juice and a…

With as much as I work out I STILL struggle to eat 1800 calories a day, which is my goal to feed my muscles and keep me at a loss. When I first started changing my lifestyle it was hard for me to stay under my calorie goal because I was so used to eating so much food! Once I started to measure and weigh my food out and be…

I have binge days as well. I haven't had one in a while, but those things sure do creep up pretty fast! You obviously know what you're doing, looking at the big loss that you have accomplished. It's alright...like someone said earlier, you can't be perfect 100% of the time, and it's what you do afterwards that will make…

I don't log on the weekends. For whatever reason I just don't want to do it...however, since I'm trying to drop some more weight I guess I'm going to have to log on the weekends...grrrrr...!!! I don't eat out of control, but I won't log...MUST LOG ALL FOOD...:grumble:
