Hi, ladies! :) I've been lurking in this thread for a few weeks and thought this would be a good time to jump in. My name is Susan and I will turn 50 in October. You all seem like a wonderfully supportive bunch. We're all sharing many of the same struggles--stubborn aging parents and in laws, scales that won't move, empty…

I have the FT7 and love it!

My husband with World's Strongest Man winners Bill Kazmaier and Zydrunas Savickas. For comparison, my husband (on the right, obviously) is 240 lbs in this pic and wearing a 3X jacket..

I'm in the Hellmann's canola camp. I really can't tell the difference and I'm a mayo snob.

I got my Polar FT7 last week and love it so far!

Way to go! I know that feels great. I can't wait to get there myself!

Yep--but not for long! I'm 13 pounds heavier.

I went on a spree after Christmas and bought Just Dance 1,2, and 3 with the intention of using them for exercise and promptly sprained my ankle before I ever received them in the mail. I am actually planning to use them for the first time tonight. I'll let you know how it goes! I also dusted off my Wii Fit this weekend and…

I've already decided that I will buy myself an Ipad when I get into onederland, which will be roughly around my birthday time this year. I haven't thought about a reward for the final goal weight, mainly because I don't really know what that weight is yet! It will probably be something big, though, like a trip.

I would have the wild mushroom and spinach salad, skip the pasta course, and have the Piccata di Pollo al Limone as an entree.

Hi music people! I started on flute in 5th grade, switched to french horn in 7th grade and played in marching bands, drum and bugle corps, orchestras, etc. I've also played guitar, uke, and hand drums. These days I sing and play bass guitar in a little 5 piece swing band! I don't think I could live without music in my life!

I'm right there with you for the next few weeks. I sprained my ankle just before new year's and, though it's healing nicely, it will be a few more weeks until I'm fully "back in the game." As long as the scale is going down and not up, it's all good!

I joined MFP last week and I have at least 100 lb to lose, maybe 120. Anyone please feel free to add me. We can do this together!
