if you do Stronglifts, he does have youtube videos on the site of both exercise routines. It's a good beginner program and you can stick with it and really see your lifting increase. I've been using it for 6+ months now

swiss garlic and herb, blue cheese, mozzarella and sun dried tomato, white cheddar. Usually in scrambled eggs or omelettes

I think if it's 5 or fewer calories, they're allowed to list it as a 0 calorie product. Mine all say 1 calorie

Nice work, I've been doing stronglifts for 6 months now, I didn't bother to stop, I just kept going and increasing the weights when I could and dropped most down to 3x5. The iphone/android app is great if you don't already have it

Starting any new exercise will cause your body to retain water at first. Your muscles are holding it to recover and rebuild. As others have said, HRM's are basically useless when it comes to lifting, they only work with aerobic and not anaerobic exercises like lifting. There isn't really a set way to count calories burnt…

that would be good with some peanut butter

I started using gloves on dead lifts once I got to 305lbs, my hands were getting ripped open too much and my gym doesn't allow chalk

I cannot eat before I lift, it makes me sick. I normally work out and then come home and shower before I eat. If I eat the second I get home, I'll eat everything in sight.
-
I honestly wouldn't mind at all, I tend to limit myself on bench and stick with a weight longer because I don't have a spotter, so I'd definitely welcome it from any gender.

bump for later
-
I lost almost all my weight just doing that and then switching to running once I could. I regret not lifting back then though
-
I'd go with Stronglifts 5x5 but I'm bias, I've been doing it a little over 3 months and have seen a huge difference

yeah, exactly. I just did the same thing for OHP. I was stuck at 95lbs and was about to hit the deload again for the second time, so I jumped up to 100lbs and switched to 3x5 to get over that plateau

casein is a slow absorption protein compared to whey and should be taken before bed
-
mine does that too. They have them as spacers between the squat rack and the mirrored wall
-
They should have them, just ask. My gym has like 20 of them all over the place
-
about 30 minute drive each way but at the end of October I'll be working from home
-
if it fits into your daily limits, then it's absolutely ok
-
thanks

Rather than starting a new thread, I might as well ask here. I'm currently in week 12 of strong lifts 5x5 and the squats every workout are starting to kill my legs, would this be a good program to transition to since its still the same exercises just split up?

Look for something that looks like this, the bars are your spotter
