  • My fiancé is a divorced man. His story reminds me a little bit of wilsoncl6's. My fiancé was married and had a child with his ex-wife, who had cheated on him before in their relationship but he thought marriage might help. She was about four months pregnant when they got married and unfortunately, their son was born and…
  • Also, super excited to start!! :)
  • Yes! I figured I'd add an extra cardio day in anyway (I just prefer 6 on 1 off or I get really lazy), so I was thinking of putting in some Shaun T cardio since that is his wheelhouse. :)
  • I'm planning on starting in about two weeks after I finish p90x3. I was going to do another round of p90x3 immediately, but I found a copy of CLX at a yard sale for $20.... figure it's worth a shot! :)
  • I am not sure! I have about two weeks left of p90x3 (completed Insanity, p90x, t25).... and just bought a copy of CLX at a yard sale over the weekend for about $20. Looking forward to trying someone who isn't Tony Horton or Shaun T (despite the fact that I love them both). So far, my plan is to finish x3 (which I've LOVED)…
  • Not sure about where you live, but look into a local rec center if you have one. In my area, there are fitness classes for teen girls (like zumba, dance, water aerobics). :) Could be that you need to nudge her and push her into something that would seem more like "fun" than work!
  • Always here for motivated people! :) A month away from completed p90X3 and will start p90x/x3 "hybrid" (ie subbing MMX for kenpo and x3 yoga for yoga x and dynamix for x stretch). I'm getting married in June and love cats. :) sooo... those are my basics.
  • That is always the first place I lose from! :)
  • I'm getting married June 19, 2015! Woot! And I've already tried on dresses, have one picked out, but am waiting to order it so it will look good with the weight loss! I have completed the first 5 weeks of p90x3 and have been loving it!!!!
  • I am a 36L in bras that I get from a European-style salon. Whenever I do plyometrics, I wear a soft cacique regular bra with no underwire and three other cheap sports bras from ON. Not the most ideal situation and quite heavy; however, I've tried many brands and still haven't found one I felt worked including Panache's. I…
  • I am Michelle! Currently working my way through p90x3 while also planning a wedding! Have a lot to lose, but highly motivated and absolutely loving x3 compared to the original! my goal is to be fit and strong.
  • I'm a 38K in european sizes.....and I wear a cacique sports bra in 38H and then add on two generic sports bras. Three more sports bras if I am doing plyometrics.
  • I do this, but with thrift shopping. :) I have a loft pencil skirt from Goodwill that I am slowly working myself into! :)
  • are you able to take two fifteen minute breaks a day? most companies allow that.... and then take the time to go take a brisk walk?
  • I am on my third week of Focus t25 and p90X doubles. holy jeez!!! my worst day was t25 cardio and p90x plyo. it was like pure death by cardio ;-) I've been doing six on, one off like the p90X schedule for t25. :) I like it!! i think they go pretty well together, although I am going to do 6 weeks of alpha, 7 weeks of beta…

  • I like what he says about that.... that it is better for you to do a modified pushup and go all of the way down for a complete range of motion than it is for you to do a regular pushup where you are struggling to go down an inch or two, even. I like both Tony Horton and Shaun T and feel like what Shaun says can be applied…
  • I think Tania's difference now is that she has a kid. :) My sister used to run for 7-8 miles a day before she had one of those. Now, she does 3 miles every other day. :) I guess life priorities change, maybe? I dunno. Maybe I defend Tania bc she was my hero in insanity :)
  • I started with 30 Day Shred from Jillian Michaels to help get my fitness level up for insanity just another thought :)
  • I'd love to join!! :) user name is mfleeg ....my name is Michelle :) highest weight was 270, lost 40 pounds without MFP, now down another 31!.... am hoping to end around 150 if i can! :)
  • i completed t25 speed 1.0 and plyometrics X from p90X.
  • i've got speed 1.0 tonight!! :) and p90X plyometrics X. yay for T25! it has gotten me back into the joy of working out on a schedule, so i added in p90X as well last week! :)

  • I wish I could switch to liquor.... more of a beer girl! and those light beers blow! that said, i work in a few magic hats. :) what's the point of life if you can't have fun sometimes?
  • what a great story!!!!!! amazing job and way to not give up on yourself :) :)
  • I just started on Sunday!! I am doing a doubles program with Focus T25. :) But OMG!!!!! Yoga X is a beeeeaaasssstttt, to me.
  • It will get better!!! The more you do it and realize.... "hey! i held this five seconds longer than last time!" it's small things like that and then..... eventually you will be like "what a breeze!" :) i started out that way with cardio abs in insanity!

  • I wouldn't purchase the program if you are currently letting things get dusty without trying them out first. It's fine to try something and not like it, but if you're collecting them and not doing them.... you may not be ready for both the time commitment and the money commitment that is insanity. I would probably start…
  • I have about 100 pounds that I am trying to lose and am also making shorter goals within my ultimate long term goal! :) You can do this!!!! Someone that I know on here and in real life lost 151 pounds.... it is one of the most inspirational stories/transformations I have ever seen! :) I am really excited for you to take…
  • Yes! I didn't hate p90X, but Tony.... he just tries too hard? Shaun T is just more "real" to me if that makes sense! Maybe because I liked him on facebook and he admits his flaws to the world, too. And he admits he hides thin mints in his closet. LOL!
  • I just started yesterday. :) I went from insanity to p90X and now T25. I realized how much I missed Shaun T! p90X is a great workout, don't get me wrong.... but Shaun T keeps me inspired!
