  • You did an awesome job, lady!!!!! :) Sorry I was late on this.
  • I feel that way with this PCOS thing I just got diagnosed with -- like you want me to workout like crazy and do all this other crap to lose .5 a pound once in a while?!!? Oh well!!!!! I am getting an insulin resistant diet cookbook so maybe that should help!
  • how's dietbet!? :)
  • I'm getting married June 19, 2015 and heck yes -- let's make them alter the sucker! :)
  • I am doing a CLX/turbofire hybrid I think! :)
  • oh man!!! stay active!!! who cares?! this group is cool!!!! :)
  • I'm starting over thanks to missing a week thanks to a holiday vacation! Boo!!! My restart is slated for tomorrow to be on the right schedule! :)
  • What an awesome present!!! :) LOL! I use the bands! It took some getting used to at first but definitely nice for travel, space issues, and cost. My parents/ sister's side of the family all live in a suburb of Dallas while I am in Virginia Beach
  • MMX is the MMA-inspired workout on x3.... it was really good! :) but I am not so good at choreography and that one has a more athletic nature to it, if that makes sense? :) I did t25 all most of the week of Christmas as I was visiting my sister out in TX. Ready to get back to CLX. I think I will restart the first phase,…
  • yes.... I thought about it and I like the punch combos a lot better in the MMX workout on p90x3. I think he does a better job at helping you to know what to be pivoting on the lower half of your body. That - or I am just not made for dance-y cardio, though I like the "fire throw" things.
  • I did Fire 30 on what is called a "CLX rest day" on day 2 of the week.... it is more choreography than I am used to so I feel like I need to go through it like ten more times before I get the full effect of it! I think I am a bigger fan of the HIITs.
  • Yes!!! That is how I feel about it! I feel like it is at least worth what I paid for I due to the in-a-pinch options!!! Though sadly, I missed all workouts yesterday. I burned the inside of my thigh pretty bad thanks to tripping with boiling water while cooking. Dangerous sport, man. Told my fiancé I can no longer cook due…
  • Usually when deciding what to do, I watch youtube videos to see if I would like something and then try to craigslist it from someone who ordered it and didn't commit to it. ;-)
  • Yes!! Plus, you can never have too many to rotate in and swap things :)
  • I was!! I made the mistake of doing them at 8PM since that is when I could get the spare room to exercise in!!! but it was pretty good!!! I can see how good the shorter HIITs will be for days I wouldn't normally get a workout in (I typically "rest" Fridays but could probably do a HIIT 15-20)
  • I did HIIT 25 yesterday as my first turbo fire workout. It is definitely different than I am used to with the music and the fire-whistle stuff.... great workout of cheesy fun. :)
  • Welcome back! :) Feel free to add me as a friend. Recently, I've been doing an at home workout where the trainer is telling you that it is actually more selfish for you to not take that time out to take care of yourself, because it helps give you focus to be better in all aspects. I really believe that!! Anyway, glad that…
  • I love the sumo burpees. Way easier on the knees than the others. :)
  • I did buy a copy of Turbo Fire thanks to that and the fact that a lady was trying to sell one on Craigslist to get money for her daughter's Christmas presents. Win, win?! I get TF, she gets $40 towards a good Christmas?
  • Yes! I am considering either asking for it or craigslisting it from someone... and probably doing it as a hybrid with CLX or something after CLX is over. I dunno! I am all over the place. I probably don't need it as I have t25, insanity, p90x, p90x3, clx..... LOL!
  • Yes! :) I guess I am now about two weeks in :) So far -- I like Burn Intervals but do not like Burn it Off! So I have been substituting t25 in on the extra rest day and on Burn it Off! day.... I think that helps me psychologically anyway! I am debating on asking for TurboFire for Christmas :)
  • I was told by someone taking my measurements that I had a tiny ribcage. Tiny. I'll take it!
  • Check out the book Eat This, Not That on Amazon. It will tell you other things to choose if you want something. Yes, that other something may not necessarily be "good", but it is a better option? I think they've got a restaurant/fast food survival guide for most large chains.
  • Pilates/yoga/zumba possibly?
  • Awesome! Today is my last day of x3! woot woot! But I've done Burn Circuits 1, 2... and Burn Intervals so far to just kinda get used to the videos beforehand. Super excited! :)
  • You're young, so your skin should compensate! I recommend also reading this article, because it might be useful: http://www.womenshealthmag.com/weight-loss/loose-skin I also found this very inspiring as well: http://www.womenshealthmag.com/weight-loss/amy-penrod-weight-loss
  • Yes! My finish date for p90x3 is next Wednesday, so one week from now! :) But I am getting excited to start CLX!
  • awesome!!! I might do something like that after I finish Chalean Extreme :)
  • My mother in law had this done at about 230-240 because she had diabetes, sleep apnea, high blood pressure. It wasn't the weight, it was the co-morbidities that allowed her to be a candidate for the surgery. However, even though she is doing so well now, it was really scary post-surgery because she had a lot of medical…
  • You did 14 minutes more than yesterday! :)
