Yep, I've gone down about a half size. I was regularly wearing a 9-9 1/2 (which is HUGE for somebody as short as I am, I'm only 5'3"), and now I'm pretty consistently in an 8 1/2. Thank God. Being short with big feet sucks.

Not sure exactly what my "label" was since I kinda hung out with all different crowds, but I was the vice president of the show choir (basically, I was Rachel Berry from Glee), in 2 other choirs, lived and breathed musical theater, and probably spend more time in rehearsal than I did in class. Oddly enough, my "high school…

I'm going to learn Spanish. I took Spanish in school from grades 3 through 9, then again in college for an easy foreign language credit, so I'm not starting from scratch, I can speak and understand some basic things, and I can read more than I can speak, but becoming fluent would be awesome. I live in central Texas, where…

Omg, my dad had a look like that. Until the day he died a couple years ago, he could still give me that look and it would scare the bajeezus out of me. Didn't matter if I was 5 years old or 25 years old, he just gave me the look and I knew to stop whatever the hell I was doing lol

I agree, any time my child has begun acting out somewhere (like in a busy restaurant as I mentioned earlier) I took him outside when it got to the point that he was distracting to other patrons. My obligation is obviously first to my child, but it's just common courtesy to the other restaurant patrons.

I disagree with using a foreign object to spank your child with, and I feel like I've even read in parenting and child development forums (I was a little paranoid that I didn't know how to take care of a child when I was pregnant lol) that you should only use your open palm and nothing else if you choose to spank, but I…

I have a college degree, am under 75, and I'm okay with an open handed swat on the bottom---with conditions. I was spanked as a kid. I can probably count on one hand the number of times I was spanked, it never actually hurt, and my parents never did it as an "anger" reaction. It was honestly more embarrassing than…

I agree, 45 minutes is WAY longer than I would have stayed at the store, but it's not my place to judge. But very good advice, they want an audience, even at home if my son starts acting out or throwing a fit I tell him he can go do that in his room because I won't pay attention to him while he acts that way. He usually…

First, are you suggesting that people beat their children with belts until they bleed? I'm like 90% that lands you in jail these days. I wouldn't know, though, since I don't beat my child (there is a difference in an open palm spanking and beating your kid with a belt). Second, lemme give you a little personal experience.…

These are currently on my feet:

It TOTALLY depends on the person. I was significantly overweight at a size 12, however I'm 5'3" and have a small frame, and my goal is somewhere in the size 4ish area. If I had a larger frame and/or were taller, a 12 would probably be just fine. It all depends on how you're built and what your body composition is!

This. I take a hot power yoga class every week and it kicks my *kitten*! I love it, it's been amazing for my flexibility and balance, and it's really improved my breathing during running. And I'm almost always sore, especially if we've done a lot of vinyasas---those kill my arms. There are many different types of yoga, and…

It means "no fatties" but in way nicer words.

We do, they give us a percentage of our annual salary plus x amount of dollars for every year we've been with the company. That 'x' fluctuates, depending on how business has been for the year. I'm fortunate to work in an industry that's able to thrive during a recession (our company has never had to lay off employees in…

Aziz Ansari...I think it's because I laugh SO HARD at everything he says and I use quotes from his stand-ups in every day conversation. Being hilarious can make an average looking dude become very attractive.

Go to the Penthouse website. You'll find plenty of them there.

It's F1 race weekend here and our company is one of the major sponsors so we're offering helicopter rides to rich people from our secure gated parking area to the race track...meaning I couldn't park in my assigned space in the front of the building and I had to go parallel park way in the back and walk through our loading…

The end of cupcakes is the same thing as the end of the world, in my book.

Honestly, the first thing I would say is to take it one day at a time and to remember that you didn't gain the weight over night, so you're not going to lose the weight over night. I'd probably throw out one of those lame *kitten* "It's not a sprint, it's a marathon" lines to sound like a nice person, too.

Remember when it was like 1998 and people were all "dude Y2k is totally gonna be the end of the world as we know it" and people were hoarding canned goods and bottled water and preparing for the end of the world when the clock struck midnight on January 1, 2000? And then after it was already 2000 and nothing happened…

I'm doing a 5-mile Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving too! I'm guessing they're not the same one though since we don't live in the same place...anyway, you can totally do it. That race is SUPER fun, I've done it a few times, and your adrenaline will give you a little extra push. I think there are usually one or two water…

True, it's all relative to your fitness goals. I am trying to lose weight and body fat---not trying to put on muscle. However someone who is actively trying to put on muscle definitely should lay off the heavy treadmill sessions and hit the weights harder...just depends on where you are physically and what you're trying to…

At the moment, I'm in race training, so cardio is my focus. I'm running 3-4 days a week, I've got 2 half marathons, a 30-k and a marathon coming up between now and February, so that's what I'm doing. When it wasn't race season, I did a bit more strength training, but I also did quite a bit of cardio and I shed 33 lbs and…

I cry about everything. I cry when I'm happy, I cry when I'm sad, I cry when I'm embarrassed, I cry when something is sad on tv, I cry when something is touching, sometimes I cry at sappy songs in the car...I mean really, I cry ALL THE TIME. Today's cry (well, the first one of the day, I mean I'm not joking I cry about…
