Thank you for graciously feeding my ego.

I sing extremely loudly in the car. IDGAF who sees me at a stop light either, I jam OUT. And it's usually to something incredibly nerdy like a cast recording of some Broadway musical. Not to sound super conceited, but I am a really good singer, I took lessons for 7 years, went to school for musical theater, so it's like,…

I have nothing to bring to the table in this thread, other than my sad admission that I skimmed each page to see if my name was mentioned (which it wasn't), because I'm just. That. Narcissistic. Tell me I'm pretty, or GTFO.

"Is it seriously already 5am? How badly do I really need to go to yoga today..."

Dude. Not cool. I'd be so pissed if somebody said that to me. You don't look like Rumer Willis. Your head is proportionate to your body.

My bf gets that ALL the time. Like literally everywhere we go somebody thinks they know him from somewhere! Just a familiar face, I suppose

I pretty much always get Kim or Kourtney Kardashian (I think it's just bc I'm brown, short, and curvy). This older guy I work with always calls me "Kim" and it kinda creeps me out because I'm assuming he's seen her sex tape. Awkward.

I posted this in a forum thread the other day but my personal fav for bad days: If Britney Spears survived 2007, you will survive this day.

My company distributes Rahr in Austin, I LOVE the Texas Red!!

Oh man. We are a mega beer town and I work for a beer distributor. Heaven. My personal favorites of our locals would be Independence Austin Amber and Twisted X Fuego. I can hardly ever find Fuego and I think it's only available in draft right now, but it's amazing. It's a crisp lager infused with a touch of jalapeno---I…

Oh yeah, that's in there with "sharing same beliefs" type thing. I can't deal with racists/bigots etc.

Omg yes, if I was on a date with a guy who was rude to a server/bartender/cashier/anyone in the service industry, that would be the last date we go on. There is no reason to be rude to people like that.

I agree...college isn't for everyone. My boyfriend went to college on a baseball scholarship, broke his hand and couldn't play anymore, therefore losing his scholarship. At the same time his grandmother (who he and his mother lived with his whole life) got cancer and his mother was her sole caretaker, so instead of putting…

I agree with this. Yes, my goal size/weight is about what it was when I was 17 or 18. Am I being unrealistic? Nah, I don't think so. It's a perfectly healthy size/weight for someone my height and frame size, so I think my goal is good. In fact, I'm trying on my prom dress at the end of this week to see if it fits again…

Good God, I have a lot of them. It's a wonder I'm not single. Deal Breakers: - Smoking - Drugs - Poor hygiene/doesn't take care of himself from a health standpoint - My height or shorter (I'm 5'3", so hasn't really been an issue) - Not close with any family (aside from some crazy extenuating circumstances---I just need a…

This girl I went to college with is getting married to a guy she's been with for about 9 months now, total...oh and I only know how long they've been together because she posts "Happy X month anniversary baby, I love you so much!!" as her status, tagging him, every. Single. Month. Now that she's engaged, she posts about…

Every time I hit a 10 lb milestone, I never wanna go back. Like when I hit 169, I vowed never to see 170 again. Then never 160, or 150...just last week, I hit 139 lbs on my scale for the first time since before my son was born (he's almost 6!) and I never wanna be in the 140s again (you know, unless I'm like super pregnant…

Totally agree, baby steps. It's hard to just try and go balls to the wall right away, that's a good way to get stressed out and quit! For me, eating somewhere around 1400-1500 calories a day, macros set at 40% protein, 30% carbs, 30% fats and not really worrying about going over my cals once a week or so has been really…

God I love random memes. A friend of mine posted this on an fb status of mine the other day and I kinda died laughing:

Yeah, that's one of the reasons I don't drink milk, just because it's weird to me lol. I'm totally not opposed to going dairy free if I can find cheese substitutes that are good, just because I love cheese so much. I'll look for that at the store this weekend. Thanks!
-
If I don't experience any of the other symptoms related to a diary/lactose allergy, would it still be beneficial to try cutting it out? I know that drinking milk tends to upset my stomach, but cheese doesn't really bother me for some reason (probably because I don't usually eat a lot at once). I don't eat yogurt and I only…

"You carry your weight very evenly" is a big one I've gotten and "You're just really curvy, don't worry about being skinny" which really means "You're fat and will probably always be, so stop trying." Or maybe that's just what I hear because I'm paranoid... I've also gotten the whole "you have a really pretty face" thing…

That's kinda my thought too, although I went and named my child Jett, which is going to be nice and confusing when he gets the word "jet" in spelling at school... To this day, I have an impossible time finding ANYTHING with my name on it (you know, like personalized coffee mugs at theme parks and stuff), and my name isn't…

Haha that was a nickname. The kid's real name Prince Michael the Second. Because his older brother is Prince Michael (the first). Because that's MUCH more normal.
-
LOVE the name Rebel!!
-
YES. The Beckhams' daughter's middle name is Seven. They must be Seinfeld fans.
-
My little Spiderman should meet your kids! They'd get along great! No, but seriously, my son's name is Jett. Some of my more traditional older family members needed to get used to it a little. My sister had a couple friends in high school named Princess and Diamond. I would feel really special all the time if my name was…

I confess that I'm totally in the same boat as y'all. I also confess that I REALLY like that obnoxious new Taylor Swift song.

It's unfortunate that has been your experience with Christians, because I consider myself to be pretty strong in my faith, but I totally understand and respect that not everybody believes what I do. I figure as long as a person is kind, compassionate, not hurting anybody, and treats other people with respect, they're fine…
