After I eat dinner, I brush and floss right away. I find that if I do that, then I don't want to eat again and have to brush/floss again. Simple little mind-trick if you don't want to save daytime calories for night-time snacking.

Way to go! What an excellent start, now that you have a terrific momentum with so many positive results you can see where the hard work will get you :)

Hello! You can add me, I wouldn't mind having a few more friends :) I'm freezing in New Hampshire, first day of spring!

Anything spicy, now I put hot sauce on everything!

My husband equates food treats with love, so that's always the first thing he goes for as a gift/pick-me-up for me and I have to keep telling him that I don't need or want food treats. It makes him feel bad, but I'm not a dog so don't reward me with treats. I don't think he's trying to sabotage me, he just doesn't…

For me it's the steamed dish, that's the only one that wouldn't put me to sleep in an hour or kill my guts. (Beans and I are not friends lol!) I agree though, healthy is subjective. Eat with you like to eat, count it and move on :)

I will probably have to count for the rest of my life, I thought that after a year of consistent counting and logging that I had a handle on how much I could eat and be reasonable about it. Wrong. I gained 25lbs in 3 months! Mindful eating doesn't work for me, so count I shall.

I'm not stuck on breakfast food for breakfast, so the choices are limitless. I've found that once you break the idea that you have to eat a specific kind of meal at a specific time of day you have a lot more choice. My recent favorite is rolled lean turkey and ham with a handful of greek olives and a little feta.

When I started last year, I would have said yes. Now it's just the way I live my life everyday to stay sane and feel good.

I second that on the 'front boobs' I've already gone down a cup size. I like my bum getting smaller, but I'd really like to keep my little boobies!

Hi pal :) I'm 5'5" and mine disappeared last time at around 220lbs. :) I remember thinking how weird it was when I looked and noticed they were gone, I'm looking forward to that again!

Nah :) Once I get to goal, I get to maintain. Still weighing and measuring and logging for ever and ever and ever, ad infinitum ;)

eh, I cook a meal every night for my family, nothing too elaborate but there's a protein and a veggie on the table every night. It takes 30 minutes max, better in the summer when the whole lot can be popped onto the grill! We live in a Rural town, 30 minutes from the nearest store or drive through anything, so popping out…

 My husband always asks me if I'm really mad or if I'm just hangry...

My stomach feels like a yawning black pit from which not even sunlight can escape. Also, I feel desperate and frantic like I've lost something important and have no idea where to find it, finally cranky and rageful with a pinch of melancholy. It's really quite fun to be with me when hunger strikes...

Snacking on alll the foods while I'm preparing food in the kitchen, and overeating on cheese... one ounce is such a small amount and I hate spending my allotment for the day on just cheese!
-
yes, I used to do this almost everyday. For me, this is one of my biggest acts of self harm. I've been on the road to recovery from this behavior for almost a year now. It's very complex and difficult to simply slap a bandaid on. I combat the urge daily. The strategies that have worked for me have been eating a diet high…

For quick morning meal, I grab a couple hardboiled eggs, or protein bar, or cold leftovers from the fridge. I don't care if it's breakfast food :)

Once shot a guy in Reno, just to watch him die. (Also stole his antique Twinkie collection and fenced them on the black market for a small fortune in shiny rocks... but mostly just to watch him die.)

Has a tiny, albeit perfectly-formed, conjoined twin in her left armpit. (Cute little bugger too) :#
