I'm still around! I haven't been doing that great in the last 6 months with logging - and I'm still recovering from bronchitis so exercise has been limited, but I still regularly check in to MFP. If anyone needs a bud, I'm happy to be a cheerleader. You're welcome to add me as a friend if you'd like!

I think the weekly calorie goal is a great idea. I was on WW for a little while, and that's one of the things I liked about it. You have a daily points number, and then a weekly points number, and then additional points for exercise, and the point is to use them all. So if you're conservative with the weekly points during…

This is amazing! Keep us updated on how it goes! For me, my exercise is a short bike commute to work and back. Weightlifting 2-3x a week, horseback riding usually 4x a week, and plenty of walking and leisurely biking on the weekends. The big thing is that all of this is really fun for me. I was doing zumba, which I miss,…

Oh man. I can SO relate. I'm living this right now, too. I'm at 168, and officially, have lost 30 pounds from where I started a year ago. I've really stabilized at this weight for the past 6 months or so with some minor fluctuation, and I'm happier about it than where I WAS, but I know that it's not where I want to BE. I…

So after a couple of weeks of major stress eating and not exercising much, I was super relieved to see that I had only "gained" a pound (This could be normal fluctuation and not a real gain). I just got signed up for the local YMCA and have already been twice so I'm hopeful that I can stay on track and motivated for a…

Hey, ladies. I know a lot of you have moved on to Supercharged, but is anyone still working on NROLAbs? I've checked out the group, but it's really not very active and I'd like a bit more support than that :-)
-
Hello! I'm just finishing up NROL4W and getting ready to move on with this program. Anyone still around?
-
The point is to lower yourself over the 20 second time period. I was never able to get there, myself!
-
I've just got 2 workouts left before I've finished all 12 of Stage 7 - it's been so hard but so very worth it. Good luck with Supercharged! I'm moving on to Abs :-)
-
You look amazing! Great job, Cowgirl!

I finally got to the second 7.2 workout last night. I was able to make gains in nearly all the exercises, though I did have to reduce reps. I'm totally ok with this. MY GOD these are sweaty workouts! I was pretty drenched by the time I finished up.
-
Yes, Nthn, these workouts a huge mental game. I usually do ok for the first set, but the 2nd and 3rd are horrifying because I keep remembering that I have more to get through before I'm done. I've definitely had good results from this stage - I'm losing inches and my pants are getting too big. This a huge part of the…

Life has given me a bit of a break mid stage 7, so I'll be taking it easy until Thursday at this point. I'm hoping that this mini break will help me finish stage 7 nice and strong!!
-
I did the AMRAP workouts, and I don't think you really lose anything by skipping them. They're more of a "Hey cool! Look how much better you are already!" kind of a workout. For anyone contemplating Stage 6 - I really liked doing it and was glad that I did after finishing. I really only think it adds to your success in 7.
-
I started the 2nd round of stage 7 last night, and I'm definitely seeing improvements from the first time I went through it. Still hard, but damn, I'm super proud of myself :-)
-
I finished 7.5 Last night... That was a hard workout. I felt like between the barbell bench press and the pushups my arms were going to give out! I was able to increase my reps to 20 for most exercises in the 2nd half on that one, so I'm feeling pretty good there. Is everyone doing these workouts a second time for the full…

You're one tough chica if you brave 7.4 while on your vacation! I have to admit, I kind of hate these workouts DURING them, but I'm so glad that I've done it afterwards!
-
I didn't get to 7.3 until Saturday (my lifting buddy bailed on me for Thurs night). I was glad to see deadlifts again, but doing deadlifts and then going into the lunge with rear foot elevated made for some really wobbly legs. I didn't increase weights for the 2nd half of the exercises, but I did try to increase reps…

You guys, Maybe I'm a glutton for punishment, but I really liked the YTWL!
-
Yes, there's a weight bench I can use. So I'll get on that! I think it'lll really help me make sure I'm working what I'm supposed to be. I have 7.3 tonight!
-
I'm looking forward to seeing you over there! The first two stage 7 workouts were brutal...
-
cowgirl, I found the grip strength to be even more of a problem tonight when I did 7.2!! Particularly for the step-ups... I've been really limited with my apartment complex gym in what I can do, and I need to figure a way to get a higher step so that I can drop down the weights. Step up has been more an exercise in…

I'm actually a little surprised that I don't have MORE DOMS today... Don't get me wrong, I can feel all of my muscles, but it's more of a reminder that they exist and not so much a full out PAIN that I was expecting! The one exception is my right thigh. I don't know why the right over the left, I think I did everything…
-
Anyone else still in Stage 7? I just did the first workout last night, feeling ok this morning, but I'm waiting for my DOMS to kick in on Monday. Man, was that a tough workout. The 30s rest really never gave me a chance to catch my breath -- I guess that was the point!
-
I'm headed for my last Stage 6 workout! See you guys in stage 7!
-
bethad - that sounds about right! After my first A workout I was sore for almost a full week after! Welcome to Stage 6 - Overall I liked it, but I'm looking forward to moving on :-)
-
One more workout for me left! My final A workout was just ok - I didn't make any more improvements on my neg chin up, but I'm giving myself a pass on that one... I'd just spent that day and the previous moving. I was exhausted, so the fact that I could do it at all was a victory for me.
-
Cowgirl - I'm afraid of stage 7 also -- from what I've read it's a real butt kicker. And yes - I'd love the rapid fat loss! Ebaymommy - I've been surprised that I've had DOMS for each of these A workouts. With the other stages, I'd typically only have some soreness after the first A and B workout for each, and then not…

That 15 second rest WAS insane for the UGLP! I had to drop my weight down a bit (5 lbs) after 6 sets in order to keep good form and timing. In general, though, I feel like I'm cruising through stage 6 at a pretty good pace. I LOVE these shorter workout times.
-
Did A4 tonight.... I was able to hold the neg chin up for 6 seconds.... which after the past few workouts, I'm pleased. The big victory is that I didn't FALL right away. As far as the rest of the workout - I have to admit, I'm really pleased with my push up progress. Keep up the good work, ladies, and thanks for the…
