  • That's great!!! I hope it stays below for you:wink:
  • This is part of the reason I started with MFP in February. There is a program that the school does that takes the kids to a park at the end of the year and my co-worker kept talking about going with her boys this spring. Well I got to thinking and since my oldest is in his first year of school he'll be eligible next…
  • 2 pounds in one week is fantastic. Actually it's above average. There will probably be a lot of people tell you to eat your excercise calories and others that will say they only eat half and so on. I think you will have to tweak your diet yourself and see what works for you. Most of the time I'm better off to eat them.…
  • Everybody looks great. Keep up the good work. Xannthippe, you look like a totally different person. I'm sure you feel totally different too. What an inspiration.
  • Welcome. I think you'll find this site to be very useful to you in your journey. Just remember that you are the one in control of your life. Don't let others tell you that you can't do it. You can and will as long as you follow this program. I never dreamed I would be able to lose like I have without being in WW or some…

  • Welcome to the new members of our group. I think you'll find losts of support and encouragement here. Congrats to all that have lost this week. Keep up the good work. I hope everybody that is struggling right now finds this week a bit easier. Don't give up. I say that as I am struggling myself right now. I know I lost good…
  • What a sweet thing for him to say.
  • I love the show and had NO clue that Jillian was peddling diet pills:mad: That totally goes against everything they have said on previous years. I thought it was supposed to be about hardwork, dedication and eating right. Now I'm going to be thinking that her team is always winning because she gives them her miracle drug.…
  • That sounds great!
  • I think the way stress causes me to gain weight is that when I'm stressed I want to eat everything in sight(comfort food), I don't sleep(no burning calories during sleep) and that in turn makes me want to eat to stay awake.....As you can see it's a vicious circle for me. So, Yes, in my case stress can cause me not to lose…

  • Sounds yummy. I might have to try this.
  • I just did the same thing. I had country fried steak w/gravy, mashed potatoes and green beans. Knocked out over 800 calories in one meal:sick: It will be okay though. We'll make it through this and move on. Tomorrow is another day.
  • I would guess that it's mostly fluid. The majority of us that had 30+ pounds to lose lost a large amount the first week and then it tapered off. I will say that if you aren't eating the recommended amount of calories there will be a ton of us on here tell you that you'll slow your progress in the end. MFP is already…
  • I'm sorry you're not feeling well and hope you get some relief soon. I'm sure that once you get to feeling better you'll be right back on that wagon and heading in the right direction again. Don't feel to bad about the 4 pounds. I would guess that it's mostly fluid that you are retaining due to whatever is causing the…
  • Sure it's do-able! You have made it back to your pre-vacation weight in just a few weeks. You can definitely do it!!!
  • Congrats! It's never silly to brag on such an accomplishment.
  • It's the little things that keep us going! Great job on losing what you have and reaping the rewards of it. I love when I have those moments where I realize I just did something that I normally wouldn't have done or been able to do before. Keep up the good work. I have no idea why this posted twice. :noway: :embarassed:…

  • Morning Everybody! I hope you all had a good weekend and are looking forward to checking in on Wednesday. I have fluctuated all weekend with my weight but I think I might still be able to pull off a loss by Wednesday. (I'm an everyday weigher:embarassed: ) Anyway, you all keep up the good work!
