You may also be burning more than 600 cals in one hour. On my machine at home I can burn about 500 in 30 minutes. Sounds like your body is in starvation mode. Eat more, and eat more often.

I never really thought about a physical reward at my goal. Better health and looking good work for me. I too already have the skinny clothes and several tattoos. Maybe a nice new stereo for my car... or having highlights done at a fancy salon...I like the idea of a trip to Vegas though.... Who knows!

Start (Nov) - 182.5 1/28 - 165 2/4 - 166 (infected toe, time of the month, Superbowl, etc) I cheated and weighed today because I have been working out A LOT this week to make up for last week, and I was 162.8! VDay goal - 160 Still possible, but at least I will be close regardless, and I will be halfway to my overall goal.…

Heck yeah you can make things the next day (in my opinion)! I'm on a weekly schedule as far as weighing in, etc. As long as my cals equal out after 7 days I'm happy. And it has been working for me for several months now. Everyone has bad days. The key is to realize why you went over, make sure it doesn't happen often, and…

I totally agree with the Kashi Blueberry waffles! They are so yummy! And I found some great sugar free syrup that is only 30 cal per 1/4 cup. A great breakfast for only 200 cals. Kashi also has Honey waffles but I haven't tried them yet.

You can look up "pizza" and try to find something that has similar crust type and toppings... Or you guesstimate how much peppers, pepperoni, cheese, sauce were on the slice individually. Not sure about the baked pizza dough.

I wanted to lose 30 lbs by the beginning of summer and another 10 by the end. Well, I've already lost almost 20 so I think I can shoot for July as my goal. If it doesn't pan out I will still have another few months. Count me in!

Things are moving along (surprisingly after my "bad" Friday night). Start in Nov - 182.5 Last week - 167.6 Today - 165 VDay goal - 160 Overall goal - 138 Only 5 lbs to go in 2.5 weeks! It is realistic if I keep up with it! And I have extra motivation to try to drop below 160 for the first time in who knows how many…

Calander age 32.5 I haven't received the email yet, but during the sections my Real age went from 31.8 to 30.7 to 31.7 to ??? Apparently my social life is making me older! Not too bad all things considered. Makes me wonder what my "real age" could be with a little more work!!

I have some ground turkey that I bought and want a new recipe to try out tomorrow night. Any suggestions?? Thanks!

Bad days happen to the best of us. I think there was something in the air this weekend! I had a horrible Friday night. But how can you ignore an entire table of free ice cream?? Hang in there. One bad day won't you back to the beginning at least.

I think they are talking about the green button on your Home page that says Complete Today's Entry. It calculates what you would weigh in one month if everyday was like today. Am I right anyone?? I personally eat my earned cals for the most part. The earned cals are just that - earned - from exercise. My body needs the…

I've been at this site for about two months and lost 15+ lbs. I was mostly doing cardio with a little strength training on the side. Because I was continually losing weight every week I wasn't bothering with measurements on a regular basis even though I noticed my pants were just a little bit looser. Well, this morning as…

Major changes in your life can affect your period quite a bit. Are you stressing out about trying to lose weight and making sure you are exercising enough? You may not even realize it. I lived in Africa for 3 years and didn't have a period for the first 6 months. Of course I freaked out but I was told that it was perfectly…

I don't do it on purpose, but I end up eating 1400 or 1500 calories a few times a week and I haven't hit a plateu yet. I read somewhere that changing it up once a week is good for your metabolism. I use it as my cheat day and we go out to eat. Just don't go overboard!

Sorry to hear about your loss. I was very good at first about only looking at the scale weekly. And it went very well. Then curiosity got the best of me. I would look at the scale after a particularly good or bad day. The results were never what I expected and got me all flustered. So I have now vowed to go back to one day…

Yes. There was a Christmas Challenge and now Valentine's Day. We made goals for ourselves around the beginning of the New Year (someone correct me if I am wrong on this...) After that I don't know. Maybe St. Patricks Day Challenge (to be immediately destroyed by all that green beer!) So here is my weigh in - Start - 182.5…

I don't know how true it is, but I used to live in Africa where most people are quite the opposite of constipated due to dirty water. We were told that bananas and rice were good things for "solidifying". Maybe try fruit other than a banana first thing in the morning. Just a thought..

I am the same as jess. I find it easier to drink when it is in a Nalgene or some other bottle. That way you can carry it with you also. Try Fruit H2O. Flavored water but not carbonated (I think). And it comes in very easy to drink 16oz bottles.

DOVE makes bags of small individual pieces. They say a serving size is 5 pieces for 200 cals, but I find that just one after lunch is good enough for me and doesn't ruin my daily goal. If having a bit of chocolate everyday will keep you from binging once a week I say go for it. I also like chocolate nutrition bars (Clif,…

This has been a good week I guess but has left me scratching my head. Last week on 1/7 - 171.4 This week on 1/14 - 169.0 So a nice 2.4 loss in one week. Then I was good on Monday, but... Ate 2 big burritos on Tues night Had back problems Wed so I didn't work out much and had several drinks with dinner. So I weighed in this…

You've most likely lost fat but gained muscle from exercising. It will help the process in the long run as muscle burns more calories than fat. On weeks like those you may not lose much weight but lose inches instead. Have you taken any measurements?

The Dove dark chocolate is so good. I have one almost everyday after lunch. Only 40 cals per piece! My "Reward" Day (thanks Cowboy) is on Friday night right now to the brewpub and hockey game. I work hard all week and then I can still make up for it on the weekend. Whatever I am doing seems to be working as I have not had…

For some reason I am thinking that "Come Together" by the Beatles would be great... Of course they are the best band ever!! but I digress - Come together, right now, and lose weight. Or maybe "Help!" Help, I need somebody Help, not just anybody Help, I need MyFitnessPal...

I am definitely not a morning person either! but here is what I have figured out for me... A. I like A LOT of sleep! B. When I'm home alone, or up later than my boyfriend, I am usually watching tv or on the computer. Both things keep my mind going and I don't get tired until close to midnight. When I read, or we…

Sounds painful to me! I came close to dislocating my shoulder the other day while snowboarding. Luckily I only pulled the inside muscle. It still bothers me a bit though. I'm on such a high from losing weight that I don't like to take a day off anymore from exercising, but when your shoulder screams you have to listen!…

I am so glad you decided to stick around! You have good posts and it's great that you care enough about others health to tell it like it is. Nice to have you as a friend. :flowerforyou: Happy Thoughts:drinker: *liz*

A better week after the holidays! 1/7 - 171.4 1/14 - 169.0 Another 9 lbs and I will hit the halfway mark!! :drinker: *liz*

Today was my weigh day. 1/7 - 171.4 1/14 - 169.0 2.4 lbs lost last week. Not too bad considering my ho-hum enthusiasm lately. Only 9-10 lbs left before VDay which is doable. I really need to get excited again and step it up because I am dreading the inevitable plateau and wondering when it will happen. *Can I just say how…
