I'm hoping it has local coop campaign. Sure would be nice to play offline with a friend, and go through the whole story, rather than just doing random special ops.

Grew up in Marshfield. I currently live in Belleville and work in Madison. I love having Wisconsin MFP friends, so feel free to add me!

I've read that blueberries are considered a "super-food".

GUILTY!! (he says with his hand raised in partial shame). To use a saying from a good friend of mine, "I got my foot caught in the funwheel this weekend." I try not to feel too guilty about some weekend indulgences. We go to all Wisconsin Badger home football games, so there is a lot of tailgating this time of year. I am…

It's water weight. When exercising regularly, the mucles will retain water for recovery puposes. It's necessary for the rebuilding process. The key is to actually drink MORE water. The more you drink, the less your body feels like it has to retain it.

I'm finishing my first round of P90x this month. I am very happy with the results. When I finish, I'm going to start over doing exactly what you plan on doing. I'm going to substitute running (C25K) for kenpo/yoga/plyo. However, I will still try to squeeze in the occasional yoga and plyo workouts because I think they have…

Do you log EVERYTHING on MFP, and do you have a bunch of MFP friends? The reason I ask... I found the motivation to stay away from "office snacks" just through knowing how many MFP friends were going to see my diary at the end of the day. I can't count how many times I've walked by the box of donuts and made a conscious…

I am not quite done yet but I'm pretty darn close (3 weeks to go). Send him a link to this thread. If it doesn't wake him up, then it's definitely time to take the key back or change the locks.

How many people clicked on this thread thinking it was about something else (he says with his hand raised)? My ideal time would be about 9am. Not so early that I sacrifice sleep, yet early enough to get it done with and still have the whole day in front of me. But most of my weekly workouts are at 5am. And if I miss one…

Here we go again! October Start Weight - 196.8 October Goal Weight - 189.8 October is also the final month of a 100 day goal I set for myself back in July. The culmination of which will be my annual biometric screening. I'm expecting some good numbers on 11/1/12!!
-
Of course I'm in! I participated in August and September and have done very well. Why stop now? My weigh in will be Monday morning. I have only 1 more month until my annual biometric screening and my goal was to radically decrease all my numbers from last year. I now have a month to crush it!!

SW: 204.2 CW: 196.4 GW: 196.2 Down 7.8 pounds. I'm basically there. However I might be a little lighter today than where I should be due to a light day of eating yesterday. I expect a slight uptick tomorrow or Monday. But I am also declaring victory. This is my 3rd good month in a row, and I'm excited for October.

SW: 204.2 CW: 198.0 GW: 196.2 I have 1.8 pounds to go. It's going to need to be a good week! However, I'm really happy with the progress so for this month.
-
SW: 204.2 CW: 199.6 GW: 196.2 I'm down 4.6 pounds. This last week was good and I experienced a little bit of the "whoosh" effect. Could be because I'm in a recovery week and the healing muscles are letting go of their water. In any case, I like it!!
-
I'm just finishing the training block 2 and am at the end of the recovery week. You really just have to remember that you may not be able to do everything exactly the way they do. Some of the moves are pretty advanced. There are still things I can't complete, but you just have to modify the exercise and work at your own…

I would actually suggest the other way around. To get off the plateau, focus on strength training. Building muscle will naturally increase your metabolism, which might make your body less reluctant to let go of some of the extra. Cardio is great for your general health; like your heart, blood pressure, respiratory, stress,…

First, 1 week of not losing does not equal starvation mode or a plateau of any sort. It just means you're having a standard fluctuation. It could just be water, or it could be this was the week your body "decided" not to let go of some of the extra weight. It happens, and it shouldn't discourage you. I workout in the…

Madison area here. Love our Wisconsin sports teams!

SW: 204.2 CW: 202.4 GW: 196 Down 1.8 so far.

That's a fantastic story. Thanks for sharing. I'm not sure people know just how motivating it is to others to be able to see transformations like this. You look very healthy!

Here we go! I just lost 9.6 pounds in August, so I'm looking forward to another good month! SW: 204.2 GW: 196.2
-
Well I came really darn close. My starting weight was 213.8. My finishing weight is 204.2. That's 9.6 pounds lost! September, here I come. Let's hope the start of football season doesn't derail me.

Count me in!! I participated in the August challenge and while the jury is still out on my progress (weigh-in tomorrow morning), it's looking like it's going to be about 9 pounds. But my willpower and resolve is just as strong now as it was at the beginning of August, so I'm in for another round! I will post my current…
