I will be running a 5K in the morning. I will then be eating Turkey, my homemade orange-cranberry sauce, my wife's Lemon Meringue pie, stuffing, some wine, all the goodies. I won't be eating a TON of if and if I go over I'll get it all back in the days to come so I'm not gonna stress it.

We give out these to the kids, most of them get really excited they are getting a cookie. If we have any left at the end of trick-or-treating we ration them over the next week or so. If we have a LOT left we'll bring a bunch into work.

I twisted the #$% out of my ankle last night while I was running. So since I had a rest day scheduled for tomorrow I'll rest today and run tomorrow. I was going to not respect my rest day tomorrow and run the electric run anyway, but now I'll take a rest day just today instead of tomorrow.

I have an underdog T-Shirt I fit into back in the day. I definitely wound up fitting into back last november, it's approaching being too big but it will then only be comfy big. Also, it was never on my mind but my warrior dash T-Shirt from 2012 SHRANK in the dryer last year and it fits now, no problems.

Another vote for this. Go to a running store, not a shoe store and get properly fitted. Then start couch to 5k again, stick to the plan and it will get your entire body up to running shape not just your lungs. Cardio is the easiest to come by, getting your body to deal with the rigors of running, that's the trick.

I don't take "off" days. I will occasionally put in extra work at the gym or on the running route to have a little more but I deprive myself only of extra helpings and so I don't need cheat days or whatever. I'm doing well because I'm not on a diet, I've changed my habits.
