  • I did my day 14 but struggled to put in as much effort as usual. Think that was about my head than my body. Hurt my elbow too but nothing serious I don't think. Stupid plank.
  • Not happy. Went to the fit club / fat club at work today. I'm 14 days in and have lost a negligible amount of weight and body fat (and inches). Shouldn't I have started seeing more results by now?? I'm eating much better than I was but I know there are still improvements to be made so will try and get that on track. I also…
  • Well Ashley - I see you did get right back on it - well done! A few days won't hurt in the longer term - the worry about falling off the wagon is getting into a '*kitten* it' mind set and really derailing yourself. Just get back on and carry on. Bet you feel better already?
  • 13 shreds in 13 days! Nearly halfway. Then I can sit back down and eat crap once more. Joke. I would have probably excused myself by now without this thread. Not really seen a loss but if nothing else my limbs are solid and I feel much fitter!
  • Yeah - you're so right! I did my day 12 as and really felt it afterwards which gave me a jump start. I think I'm annoyed with myself as I can't do all of the full exercises on level two and I'm a perfectionist so it frustrates me. Go careful with insanity - I managed three weeks last year and then ended up at the hospital…
  • 'Sore' not 'adore'! Really need some motivation though. Can't face it today. Too hot, too tired, too busy.
  • Hey, well done. Hope it works for me. Started level two yesterday after all. Didn't seem too bad. Had to do a few of the easier moves and did it too close to eating so wasn't exactly at my best! Not adore today which I'm surprised about.
  • Thanks for this - might be the kick I needed. Finished Level One yesterday and was soooo unmotivated to do the last session. Can hardly face Level Two. Just because I'm lazy and have a sore shoulder. Not even because it was that hard! My two year old never sleeps and I feel like a zombie but I need to get right back into…
  • Day ten done! Got a painful shoulder though so might have to start Level 2 on Monday instead of tomorrow though which is a bit annoying as haven't missed a day yet. Don't want to set myself back even further though.:grumble:
  • I've lost a little on all measurements - either an inch or half an inch. Better than nothing I guess.
  • With you Ashley! Just finished day 9. Found it unusually hard today but it is hot. Getting tedious though. Mentally I'm ready to move on but not sure how my body feels about that! Just taken measurements so will check if there's a difference. Keep up the good work everyone!
  • Good luck Travis. But don't get too comfortable in level one! Bah - my own scales tell me I'm only 0.6lb down after a week .... A much smaller loss than the nutritionist recorded. Hope I've something better to report when I get measured on day ten.
  • Day seven done. Definitely more toned to the touch and lost a kilo and 0.5% body fat in a week according to the nutritionist who has been running classes at work. Am due my own weigh in tomorrow.
  • Ah well - we all have those bits. Mine are saddlebags - definitely a lipo job!
  • Well done everybody! This is quite the place to be for motivation! Struggling to fit it in too Ashley. Work long days Mon - Fri and have a two year old so it's either 5.00am or kicking my partner out of the front room and stealing that little bit of TV time we have on an evening after our boy has gone to bed. Day six done.…
  • Day five done. Not really finding level one a challenge anymore so upped my weights. Starting to look forward to level two now. Can feel my arms and legs getting more solid and no more aches at all now. Need to sort my diet though. Bank Holiday weekend not helping...
  • Good idea - I had decided to up the weights too but not for the side lunges. I'm on 1.5kg now but my next ones are 2.5kg. Those lunges would kill me!
  • Day four done. Not too bad at all. Nothing to report - I just have to check in here to try and keep myself on track. Good luck everyone. What are people thinking about level 2?
  • Day three done Better than day two but day one was still the easiest! feeling apprehensive about the next level I'm quite comfortable here! I need to measure myself actually as I know I'll be disheartened if I don't see much of a result on the scales. Sweaty.
  • Day 2 done... Not as bad as I was expecting, given the aches. Hope tomorrow isn't worse though! I did hit my two year old on the head with a dumbell though and then he pinned my ponytail to the floor during the crunches.
  • Ow ow ow ow. How can I do this again today? Feel like I've been hit by a bus. Hope you're better soon Funken.
  • I can't stopping at the results pictures either. I love seeing ones that look like me so I can fantasise about my new body... well, providing I overhaul the food side of things too. Otherwise I'll just get a six pack under my blubber.
  • Maybe the walking was a bit of a warm-up for you. Will let you know how I feel tomorrow as I didn't find level one tough but I do think I'll ache. I think you're right to stick with the ten days as I've heard the next levels are something else. And you're still burning fat - soreness or otherwise - it's better than…
  • Dkalita - were you already exercising? Maybe you're already physically past step one? There doesn't seem to be a prescribed format of going through the steps - doesn't she just say to progress as you feel ready? I wasn't sure what to do - are other people doing ten, ten and ten or just moving up when they feel they can?
  • Hi everyone. Never been on these forums but have used MFP in the past for tracking. Was just on the lookout for a 30 Day Shred forum / thread. And here one is! I felt like I needed to be answerable to someone from day one to keep me on track - even if nobody reads about my pain! Anyway - day one over. Found it pretty easy…
