  • I upped my protein to 20% and brought down the carbs, but I might change it even more than that. I also try to low carb (complex carbs) in the evenings but do allow some sugars (simple carbs).

  • Even with a lean body mass calculation the protein allowance given by mfp would be low for me, so I'm ignoring it. The requirement is 0.8g protein per kg body weight each day for cell maintenance, more if you're exercising!

  • I found Wii Fit good for gentle workouts but the EA Sports Active is a more complete program and gives a challenging workout. EA Sports active 2 is great. You can get it really cheap from some online sites.

  • Cool, that means the goal weight I had in mind is right in the middle of the range given for my frame! Much more realistic than BMI.
