What type of workout did you do? Weight training will cause temporary "weight" gain as the muscle draws in water to repair itself. :) I gained 1.25 inches on my hips, 1 inch on my thighs and damn near 2 pounds the day after leg day. *holds up right hand* True story! lol :D

That definitely is frustrating! It depends on what you are doing :) Your diary is closed so that will be one thing that will be asked of you. Also what are you doing to create a calorie deficit? Are you eating below your tdee, or doing cardio, or weight lifting or a combination of them?

Perfect timing for this thread. I had c1/2 fusion surgery last October and before that couldn't get that damn bar in the right place to do barbell squats either. Now I can finally get my arms that far back, but they're still pretty tight....

Do lower reps. For example 10reps 3 sets. When I really want to gain some strength I lift 8 reps of 3-4 sets, depending on the muscle I'm working. Do that for a while and you will definitely see some increase in strength. :)

MFP doesn't calculate for weight training because it involves too many variables. From intensity to length of rest periods.
