I like Stash Licorice Mint or Yogi Egyptian Licorice Mint. They're sweet enough on their own that they don't need sugar.

If you're having a hard time breaking the habit, try air-popped popcorn or a low-cal popcorn like Boom Chicka Pop. You could also try pretzels, a handful of roasted almonds, ants-on-alog, or a sliced up apple. Check out the recipe for Nuts and Bolts Trail Mix at cookinglight.com. I frequently eat that while watching TV.

GREAT story! So amazing! I am a nurse and I see how poor lifestyle choices have negative consequences on the health of my patients. Sometimes it feels like there's nothing you can do about it, but you have shown otherwise! Your story made my day! I can't wait to hear that you've run a full marathon. Next stop - Boston!

If you use MFP, it does give you a breakdown of what percentage of your calories should come from fat, protein and carbs and breaks them down for you daily so you can…

I'm also 5'5", but at 158 lbs, I still feel that I need to lose about 20-25 lbs to feel really healthy. I should say, I have NEVER been there - around 150 is the "thinnest" I've been, and I use quotes because even though I am heavier now, I have been working with a trainer for the last year and a half and my measurements…

I don't know how accurate it is, but I use a Withings scale, which supposedly measures fat mass and lean mass. I've been working with a trainer for over a year now and have developed some pretty nice muscle tone, problem is, I have a bit of fat covering it up that I'd like to lose. The Withings scale has actually helped me…
