  • Been told by a vet that dry food is better for cats anyway
  • Just tried scrambled egg with spinach and LOVED it. My 2 year old finished her plate aswell so I'll definitely be doing that again, anything to get veggies down the kid's neck is a plus. Probably going to try a stir fry tonight going shopping for extra veggies this afternoon.
  • I just had no idea spinach went with so many things. I've always been brought up on basic veggies like carrots and peas so spinach is exotic to me haha. I just tried some fresh out of the bag and I do like it uncooked so I'll definitely be using it in salads!
  • Great idea Dafydd_brown. I choke down brocolli because I know it's good for me but I will definitely try chargrilling it for a happier experience of it. Writing all these tips down guys, have so many ideas for dinner today now haha :)
  • That salad does sound pretty epic to be fair. I think I'll write all these ideas on some paper and stick it to the fridge.
  • Thank you ThatOperaGirl will definitely be experimenting over the next few days!
  • You sound to be in the same situation I'm in. For the transition from binging everyday to trying to adopt a healthier diet I told EVERYBODY that I was cutting calories, starting to try to eat healthier, excercising more etc. I'm not sure why it helped me stick to it for longer this time, but it did. As if, people were…

  • Preeeaaaacccchhhhh!!! My boyfriend's diet is horrendous by society's standards.. he lives on bread, cakes, chocolates, crisps and cheese and nothing else, he is a "healthy" weight for his height. I eat pastas, salads, veggies, fruits, basically everything that would be considered "healthy" or "wholesome" I over eat, he…
  • I personally have never liked texting as a way of communication. I use texting as a way of sending a message such as "I'm going to the shops, do you need anything?" "I'll be over in about 5, grab your stuff" kind of thing. But that's just me. I wouldn't particularly like it if my SO was texting another girl, purely because…
  • I found that I need to replace the binge eating with something else. I have a very addictive personality which leads to me latching on to things quickly. Try finding something that will take your mind off of your problem and away from binge eating. I find it helpful to FORCE myself into the company of others. I'm alot less…
  • started at 245lbs. What's worked for me mostly is getting more and more MFP people added so you're more motivated to eat better and exercise more. Keep at it!
  • you start a diet a week ago and when your favourite brand of ice cream comes on offer it actually makes you feel depressed.
  • Mother to a toddler here :) Also looking for motivation and a kick up the *kitten* when needed. Feel free to message me when you're feeling crappy, i'll add you now.
  • I feel the same way. I lost 30lbs this time last year and I realised today that I have 15lbs back up. I used to calorie count everything, exercise at every opportunity, portion control everything and now I'm back to what I was BEFORE all that. Binging on anything, treating myself with things for no real reason, not even…
  • I'm a stay at home mam to a 5 month old. So far I'm managing to stick to calorie intake just really lacking motivation to actually get off my butt haha
  • I did day 1 level 1 today and thought I was going to die. I loved feeling like I'd really pushed myself though and I'm proud I didn't give up. I'm 20 and have NEVER worked out before, 100lbs over weight and I'll be trying to do it everyday. I've got a 5 month old so sometimes it's just not possible for 30 minutes…
