I have to say that changing the diet first - then exercise will follow. You will want to exercise even. That's how it worked for me anyway. So good luck. Stay focused. Small steps!!! small steps!!!! do not get discouraged. Take each day at a time. We are all here for each other!!!

Funny story. My hubby fav cookie is Oatmeal Raisin. And I wear reading glasses (but did not have them with me at the market) Can you figure the outcome? I came home with chocolate chip cookies. Looked like Oatmeail Raisin to me.

Stop weighing yourself. Once a week at most and even then only pay attention to the monthly number. Too many factors to figure it out. I feel your pain! I learned my lesson and usually read before I eat. But you? I would exercise AND eat less. It's the weekly total that matters, not the yoyo of daily logging. Just be down for the week.

Organic eggs are 5 bucks a dozen. Read the book The Skinny Bit**. You'll go organic or vegetarian. Ignorance is bliss. I try to eat organic when I can. With a family of five our food bill is crazy. But that's off topic. Just had to post the egg price.

Hi. As a precaution please have doctor check for anemia. I started fitnesspal and lost 20 pounds in about 6 weeks. I had to go to doctor for an unrelated incident and through that blood work found out I was anemic. So that's why i was tired all the time!!! Naps were my best friend.
