Take measurements and go by those rather than weight. You are going to gain muscle from doing it, so you may not "lose" so much weight, but you will def lose inches. Definately take measurements. You will be gaining muscle, so the scale might not move as much as you like, but if you stick with it you will lose lots of inches!! Ugh, it feels like it's taken FOREVER to lose 10lbs (it took 2 months), and I want to lose another 10-15lbs! I am not a patient person so it's reeeeally hard.

I am sooooooooooo glad you posted this! Your legs looks exactly like mine (your before pictures) and that is the one area that I HATE and never ever seems to change. But yours definately did and you look fantastic! Thanks for giving me some hope!

I've never run an entire mile in my whole life. I need to be a bit more in shape, and I'm starting turbofire next week and I think I want to try running...it would be such a great feeling do to like a 5K or something...feel free to add me!

I'm 5'4 and started at 158, currently at 150. My goal is just to be in the 130s because I can't ever remember weighing below like 148. I'm always been between 150-160 and I'm done making excuses, other people can lose weight, so why can't I?!

Call me crazy, but I don't think that's pear shaped at all. I'm 5'4", 151lbs, 35-29-39. And big thighs too. I have between D-DD cup, so that helps to even it out a bit. But my hips & thighs are my major problem areas. I rarely wear bathing suits in public and never wear shorts.
