I agree with the other posts to up your calories and include your bonus workout calories that myfitpal gives you. Also eat every 2 to 3 hours: Almonds, peanut butter & apples, hummus & sprouted bread, protein shake, lots of veggies and plant proteins will help stave off your hunger.

I love Tilapia for fish tacos! Corn or low carb tortillas, low fat shredded mozzerella, black beans (optional), avacado, tomatoes, shredded cabbage with salsa and maybe a little greek yogurt...awesome.

I have to agree with that statement, but I have heard elsewhere the negative effects of nitrites and since my memory is so bad anyway I am not taking any chances! :laugh:

Now that I am counting calories, I had to say good-bye to those martinis when we go out and order MGD 64's instead, which is great because I know exactly what my calories count is for the night.

People who are lucky and do not have to fight weight are absolutely the worst when it comes to explaining to them how difficult dieting can be and keeping off the weight. So I do not talk to them about dieting ever....everyone is happier this way.

Yes muscle does weigh more than fat. I have a girlfriend who start running to lose weight. She looks great and told me that she has never looked so good but weighed a lot more than she did at the same size because her legs were so toned.

I love Bacon but after Dr. Oz came out and said that Nitrites may be linked to Alzheimer's, I only get the the naturally cured, nitrite free bacon ($$$) on the rare occasion we eat it - like all treats should be. Breakfast is now about oatmeal or protein shakes.

This looks like the group for me :glasses: . I am 48 yrs young and finding it harder to loose the weight and easier to gain back anything I have lost. Had to quite Weight Watchers because it took 2 months of being a great dieter to only lose 4 pounds so I joined myfitnesspal to get back to counting calories. Trying to find…
