Just started becoming a Vegan :) Love it so far. A little hard but so worth it! I do Raw till 4 which means I eat raw vegan until 4pm (when I get a cooked vegan meal for dinner) :)

It's been a month and I've only lost 5 pounds and maybe an inch off my arms. It is just very disappointing. I was losing weight so quickly and doing so well, and now everything has slowed down.

I like to weigh myself naked. It's interesting how much your weight will fluctuate depending on your outfit. I have an app on my iphone called "Happy scale" which uses your daily weight to predict when you will hit your goal. It isn't recommended to weigh every day because of the fluctuations but this app calculates it and…

That's exactly how I feel! I've lost 10 pounds this week and haven't starved myself. and even when I gave up on my weightloss 3 months ago (after losing 10 pounds) I didn't re gain the 10 pounds (I totally started binging) Glad I'm not alone. haha

Of course I want honesty! haha. I'm done lieing to myself. Lies is what got me fat in the first place ("I'm not that fat" "I'll start working out tommorow" etc)

Because I could not consume all the fruits and veggies I'd like to. I still eat meals: 80% veg/fruit 15%protein 5%carb (usually stick to that ratio) However I get full, so instead of eating 4 carrots,3 stalks of celery, 2 apples, a head of lettuce and half a pineapple... Just realized how vague my post was. My apologies. Well, I exercise 3-5X a week and eat 5 meals a day (2 are juice) I'm not trying to be extreme, I am trying to make a lifestyle change :)

If you read correctly, you'd know that I juice to add fruits and veggies to my diet however I do not ONLY juice. I have lowered my caloric intake by two thirds and have began working out.

Were you losing it as quickly as I am? I want to lose 80 pounds in TOTAL,did you? Or do you need to lose more? because I figure it would be easier if that isn't your goal weight

I have never been slim. Even as a child I had a chest,big thighs and a little belly. I was considered a "thick" child. My mom couldn't even pick me up after I was 4. I was never obese as a child though. I have lost more then 2lbs a week... I've lost 6.4 lbs in one week.

My mother has bad stretch marks and lose skin. However she also gained about 100 pounds within 9 months (while she was pregnant with me) and had the weight on for a few years. I went from 180 - 240 in 3 years and have already lost 15 lbs this month.

I may have used "sedentary" wrong, however I doubt 15 hours a week of standing in place is enough to burn the amount of cals I consumed.

So will my inches stay they same as well until my skin firms up? Because I haven't seen much change in inches although I've lost 15 pounds. :indifferent:

Oh, ok. I was just confused because I thought your skin goes down with your fat. I was unaware they go down separate :ohwell: .
