works for me. i understand it's hard when groups get really large but it's kinda crummy to me to turn down folks that want to participate and help challenge each other and hold each other accountable. Isn't that what this site is for?
-
then you've come to the right place!! Welcome! :flowerforyou:

this is soooo great! you are the shiz! I can totally tell and this is such a GREAT point as many of us have been there and have these same struggles.....we compare our progress with others and when it's not the same we feel it's not working. This is so inspirational. Keep up the great work and we look forward to cheering…

I do have one sports bra with "support"....feels like underwire but might just be a thicker material and it seems to work fine. you wear the strap just under the bottom of your bra and personally....I've had both....chest strap ALL THE WAY! I was very skeptical because I was afraid the strap would not stay put and be a lil…

TOTALLY feel ya here!!! I've always felt the same way....never felt like I "looked" what I weighed but either way I'm not happy! I'm very active so losing weight is a struggle for me. Since I don't really gain easily it seems to make losing 20x harder!!!! Feel free to add me! I'm 30/F with 2 boys and love love LOVE to…

so how can you "manually" change your goals? My BMR is more than my daily goal set by the site as well but I know I DANG SURE can't handle seeing that I'd be gaining weight if I ate like this everyday when I close out my diary every night! :noway:

I'll bite! Going to Jamaica on 9/1 with the hubs and hoping to shed this lump for a different kind of "bump" Have trouble staying motivated TO LOSE (not workout as I'm very active anyways and love it) but I get discouraged and tend to let my eating go seeing as how I've been stuck on this plateau for almost a year…

The easiest way to "get into Zumba" is by joining a local class with a group of ladies that are there for the same reasons!!! 1. health 2. to have fun 3. FOR SUPPORT! You find a great group of ladies that love to have fun and just let go! I always tell my classes that this is our opportunity to be "kids" and just have fun!…

AWESOME JOB!!!! believe it or not....as a Zumba Instructor that is one of the HARDEST things to teach your class!!!! You get what you give! Sure it's fun and we all have a great time but our ultimate goal is better health. It's very encouraging to see your success and to see that you GET IT! :) great job! Keep it up and…

1-2 lbs / week is a HEALTHY weight loss! Be proud of yourself! It's normal to feel discouraged.....we've all been there but if this is not truly a lifestyle change and just a "diet" it will never work. That's where most of us falter! We yo-yo back and forth with healthy eating with just flat out gorging ourselves with…

I absolutely echo the main point that everyone else is saying.....at night is better than not at all. If you try to exercise when OTHER PEOPLE tell you that you should and at inconvenient times, chances are you will NOT stick to it. Exercise whenever you can and give it your all. It is better to exercise in the am simply…

To me "lightly active" is doing SOMETHING (i.e. playing outside with the kids, walking around from station to station at work (not completely sedentary at your desk all day), etc) on a daily basis so if in addition to these things you're doing some "spring cleaning" or washing your car and like some other posters said it…

you ladies ROCK!!! Like OP said....there is NOTHING sexier than a woman with some confidence! Know how hard you've worked so far and be proud of that!!! Strut your stuff and work it! Don't let ANYONE tell you that you ain't hot! Still working on my Jamaica body but hopefully will be there soon! If I have the…
