This isn’t sortable for a particular nutrient but a kind of global view of nutrient-per-calorie value of foods. https://www.drfuhrman.com/content-image.ashx?id=73gjzcgyvqi9qywfg7055r The scoring method is at the bottom of this page:…

http://www.mybodygallery.com is an interesting resource for discussions like these! Lots & lots of anonymous photos for people at different (self reported) heights & weights. The variety is amazing and wonderful.

I relate... it sounds like a problem with eating in the car/while driving. That was a recent new “rule” for me. No sneaky car eating. Snacks after a hike while riding, my prepared breakfast while driving, okay. But I know when I’m doing the sneaky car eating. Being alone & bored driving is tempting to me. Had to be…

I’m a vegetarian, vegan at home, transitioning to full veganism over the next couple months! Happy to connect

I am with you! I have read Campbell, Fuhrman, Blue Zones... food changes so much more than our waistlines. Our cognitive health, joint/system inflammation, risk of non communicable diseases, etc etc are are all affected by what we put in our mouths! For about 6 weeks I've been following WFPB with allowances for a few…

I'd say yes. I'm 5'6" about 134ish and while doing body fat calipers on me, a trainer told me "you would be amazed how you looked around 126." Granted she was looking me over & knew my composition but still. Been my goal since!

So nerdy! So good. Hahah

Agree agree!

This is an awesome rule. I try to do the same for on cafeteria snacks. They are not great. Just because they're there, doesn't mean I should buy them.

I forgot one... put on jeans (or otherwise binding pants) at least every couple days. Between workout clothes, sweats at home, and a dress or stretchy skirt at work I could go days. But like many have said... your clothes don't lie.

No food porn! Awesome rule. I could do more to avoid it (and the treats that inevitably follow).
-
I think I will incorporate this. Especially on weekends.
-
I'm on board with this!
-
Because some of us do well with rules. If you don't need them and can reach your goals in a flexible way -- yay!
-
Agree. I didn't connect it before but car-eating is usually secret-eating, for me. Great rule.

Love both of these. Sit down to eat. I know that makes a difference. And I love just telling myself to look at my pee. Haha, so simple.

Yes!!! Such a great rule. Just look! You can't unsee that info. Haha, awesome one

I noticed that I don't notice other people eating. I used to be very cautious of the pace that other people were finishing their meals. I didn't want to be hogging through mine before everyone else. Now, I eat my own freely and sometimes, in reflection, wonder if they finished theirs. Or, I notice when people are starting…

Best advise for weight loss: "Take. Progress. Pictures." You can't see yourself change like the pictures will show. Best advise for life: "Sometimes all it takes is 20 seconds of insane courage." If starting the conversation is the hard part, starting is over in easily 20 seconds. And, actually, I think they go together.…

I weigh in everyday and log everyday. You have to accept normal fluctuations to be able to do that. (Salty dinner? "Gain" 2 lbs.) Maybe it's just the engineer in me but I love all the data and seeing when changes happen/don't.

So sensible. I love seeing posts like this. You rock :)

I saw my calf muscles in the mirror in a boxing class and thought... Damn! NSV!

24 and constantly learning!

I know people say this & I am one of them! BUT. Even with my extreme devotion to getting moving 5-6 days a week there was a period during college (engineering senior design projects...) and working (30+ hrs a week tutoring) that there simply wasn't time. Any spare hour was devoted to sleeping or, perhaps even showering!…
