  • I'm glad you asked this because I'm having the same issue. I never thought I'd be one to whine about having too many calories left over, but on this plan I really am struggling. I feel like I am cooking veggies around the clock and gorging myself on them and chicken or tuna... but every day (I'm on C1D5) I'm falling short…
  • Does the lemon extract you can buy work just as well or do you need to squeeze your own?
  • If it is a morning I can sit down for a few minutes, I go with yogurt or instant oatmeal. Other mornings I grab a bag of cereal for the commute in. I can't do the whole big breakfast thing...
  • I'm Lyndsey and I've been on MFP since the coupon ladies mentioned it last year. I did WW after first DD was born and lost 50 lbs, got pg and gained it all back plus some. When YDD was 13 mns I started MFP and lost about 50 again. I had gallbladder issues over the summer and stopped MFP. I started grad school this semester…
  • I do Tony Horton's 10 Minute Trainer. I have a spinal issue, but am still able to do most of this workout. The moves are easy but you can definitely feel it!
  • Hummus, baby carrots, most veggies, fruit, pretty much anything healthy! lol WATER! I crave it now!
  • I'm back to what I weighed the day I found out I was pg with YDD (the same day I officially ended my first weight loss journey) and I'm back in my 12s (down from 18-20). - This one is a scale victory, but I'm too excited to leave it out. I'm feeling REALLY committed to it this time. I'm want to get my BMI in the healthy…
  • I'm really lucky b/c DH is doing this with me. He got a high BP report at the dr. and it shook him; he cut out all extra salt and is making smarter choices. He likes MFP and logs everything all the time... He is an athlete and I think he sees it as a competition for himself. I think his persistence is as much vanity as…
  • Ranch, Nacho cheese, cheddar, salt, butter.... you name it; I LOVE POPCORN! I even dip mine in salted cider vinegar sometimes... The trick with the powders is that you have to spray your popcorn (or lightly oil) for it to really enhance the flavor!
  • An old WW trick was to mix one tsp of Nutella with 2 tsp of FF cool whip. It is delicious and rich. It might freeze okay too; never tried it.
  • Thanks very much! I love spinach, but can't stand most "greens" so I think I'm going to hold off on trying this one!

  • There's a good idea! Any little thing that gets you moving is great. Also, think about getting a pedometer. I wore one at work a few days and was surprised how taking the long way to get places added it. You might be getting in more than you think. I've been reading about the 10,000 step challenge and I now try hit at…
  • I struggle with this too. I have two kids and a FT job. I already get up at 5 am to get us ready for the day and by the time I get them in bed by 8 or so, I'm DONE. I have tried working out in the mornings before they get up and I was just too rushed. I tried after they went to bed and I just hated it so much I could…
  • Bumping the great ideas!
  • A day late, but I'm in too! I'm getting quite the list of challenges for myself! -100 Squats for 100 days (loving it!) -Just started a 2 miles a day (we'll see...) -A veggie every day (easy peasy) -Get my H2O in 5 out of 7 days (getting easier every day except weekends)
  • ^^This! :) I often hop on the scales throughout the week (I can't stop myself), but I ONLY count my Monday AM weight. And somehow that Monday morning weigh in is almost always the very lowest from the week. :) For the record I also strip down completely naked for the weigh in! LOL
  • I'm a little behind, but Thursday will make my first full week. I knock out 50 before I get my kids up, and do 10 here and there throughout the day. My 3 yo thinks they are funny. Can't wait for another challenge! :)
  • I only lost .4 lbs last week and was very frustrated because I had been more active and had eaten much better. I'm trying not to stress the scale because I know I'm making healthier choices and feeling better overall. I need to start really exercising; that's the next step!
  • bump!
  • What a lovely way to put it! I feel very much the same. I grew up VERY sick as a child, in and out of the hospital with a short life expectancy. My parents were too stressed to put much focus on eating healthy or living a healthy lifestyle and when I felt like eating they got me whatever I wanted. I ate A LOT of happy…
  • I'm a week behind, but started today. I did all of mine this morning before the babies woke up and was surprised how hard the last 50 were! Yikes, I'm out of shape! Great challenge!
  • Apples and veggies! (I love dipping my baby carrots in a light raspberry vinaigrette for a crunchy treat at work = 45 cals!) My sweet treat- chocolate rice cakes for 60 calories! I'm actually loving cereal again. For 100-120 cals, I get my carb fix and it is a handy snack or breakfast.
  • THANK YOU! I didn't realize this either... wonder how long I've been over-eating?! I lost 100 calories.
  • My highlight is that I'm hitting my goal of eating veggies every day. I love them, but my family doesn't so this is a true challenge. I too and dying to get back into the 160s! 8 lbs to go! :/
  • I'm a teacher. It is actually mostly a desk-job right now though because I am working with at-risk students and online students in a lab. They click away most of the day and beyond a few laps to check on their progress, I'm monitoring from my computer. I have a 1 yo and a 3 yo, plus 3 rescued dogs. I get up at 5 am and am…
