They are very tough for me too. I began training for a marathon, so that means I'll be doing long runs on Sunday. That should keep me under control since I have to get to bed early and feel healthy for the long run on the following day. Those runs keep most of my bad weekend habits away.

Even if they are just 1 pound each, the weight is compounded as you land on each foot when jogging, especially on hard surfaces. You'd be better off wrapping them around your wrists or carry them in your hands if it all.

Congrats on your upcoming wedding. I've also cleaned house instead of working out - but hey, that IS a workout, too. Baby steps. Do one day at a time. I have found that immersing myself in Fitness mags, and books, and cutting out pictures of before and afters is very helpful. Dust yourself off and step back on that wagon.…
