  • My family actually teases me about that...because I figure anything I eat while standing in front of the pantry is being burned off while I'm searching for real food. So that one preztel stick or 2 wheat thins aren't worth logging in to me. However, I "over-log" some things to make up the difference. That way I'm not…
  • this does help! Thank you! it's good to know someone has tried this with success.
  • That's a good idea to lower the lb. per week. Right now I'm at .8/week, so maybe I'll adjust it for .5/week and slowly decrease til I'm at 0. And you can do it! 5 lbs is nothing compared to what you've already accomplished!

I'm scared of running on ice, though,…

I ate an entire green bell pepper last night and it was about 36 calories (or some ridiculously low number). It encourages me to just load up the veggies instead of relying on starches…
  • I've never taken diet pills or supplements, so I don't know about side effects, but it sounds like a more regular diet may help. Skipping meals is probably throwing your body off and it's not handling the food the way it normally would. By eating regularly each day (breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner), you might be…
  • I have read that doing strength training helps with inches, because it converts fat into lean muscle (even if you don't burn nearly as many calories as cardio). Instead of an hour on the elliptical, try 40 min and then 20 minutes of strength training to start out and see if that gets you more results after a couple weeks.…
