  • Me too, on bad days, i careless about what i'm eating and how much i eat. I just want to feel better. I lost a lot weight and reached my goal weight, then because of this and that, I lost track and started feed myself whatever again. I gained so much back and now try to lose it again. we aren't the only ones.
  • I too have the same problem; tried to eat low calories snacks. My trainer said eat high fiber food should help. I bought some Fiber One Chewy Bars last night. Will have one before I'm heading to the gym.
  • i always grab an apple and some nuts, it last a few hours.
  • love all those ideas and will try to get the family on the same boat with me. My husband can eat anything but still thin, to him nothing is unhealthy. I tried to not eat at home at all at one point and lost a lot weight but when the holidays came, I lost track of everything, the weight started to put back on...........

  • Worked in Chinese Restaurants, so I know Chinese food isn't really the best choices of diet. That being said, everyone can still make better chocie when come to any kind of food. When order Chinese food, make sure to let your waitperson know you want to leave out the MSG, low on salt and steamed dish instead fried. Sause…

  • totally agree with you. my father is 66 and he thinks he is 40. he exercises at least 2 hours everyday. i agree with everybody, 38 is just a number.

  • It's always hard at the beginning but DON'T quit; always record your calories and even you overate. Look at those numbers always make me want to continue because I know I can't keep more weight on my body. Learn to love yourself and don't think it is diet but change the way you live your daily life. I wish you all the best!

  • I agree, this site is great, both my friend and I lost so much weight from the support and motivation of this site. Without the site, I am still a FAT lady. I lost over 70lbs and my friend lost even more (she won't tell me but i can tell); we love MFP, it's the best!
  • I would count that but in order for you to lose weight, your intake has to be less than the calories you had burned throught the day (in your case, night).
